We had booked as we were going to a wedding. Check in on the website says 12, so when we arrived at 12:10 we were told that check in was not 12, it was 1pm. We informed them that your website says 12 and we had a wedding to go to. "there’s people still in your room that haven't left...

Hopefully this review will help others come to the conclusion that a stay at the "cosy" Beaconsfield isn't a good idea. Had a bad feeling about the stay when it was even a struggle to get in to the pub through doors which opened on each other thereby meaning you had to enter one at a time slaloming the doors....not...

I booked the Beaconsfield Hotel on Thursday 20 October for a 2 night visit on 24/25 October. It was a business trip. Almost immediately after booking I received an e mail postponing my meeting so I straightaway e mailed the hotel and tried to cancel via Booking.Com. Stupidly I hadn't checked their "no free cancellation" tab: clearly there would be...

Oh my dear god, if you want somewhere tiny and unclean then this is the place to stay. We had a twin room which 3 of us shared 1 x double bed and 1 x single bed, you could not move in the bathroom, literally so small no room for anyone to have any privacy changing. There was literally 2ft...

Suspect the owner doesn't care much about reviews, this is a cheap and cheerful stopover near Finsbury Park above a pub. Didn't expect much but at least my room was clean, no bugs, no stink and orange juice/milk in fridge. Hot room due to weather 30c, corridors and landing flooring badly needs upgrade. Pub was great btw, friendly service and...

Never have I felt the need to post a review before now! I arrived at the hotel to find it layered in dust, and smelling of marijuana, it was utterly disgusting.. The room smelled sickly sweet and on closer inspection i think this was a direct result of the place being infested with bed bugs.. I complained and was offered...

We booked this place as it was a cheap stay and we only needed somewhere to sleep as had a busy weekend planned. We checked in via the bar and had to walk up a steep staircase out the back to the room. The room was small and it looked like the bed had already been slept in. Feeling rather...

I picked this hotel for its central location to Finsbury Park and it's price. The check in was conducted in a busy pub (football ) and was a little daunting to a female solo traveller. The pub was very much a male drinking place. I was surprised to find access to rooms were directly accessesd from the pub and expected...
