Good position, close to Paddington Station, but staff treat you as an imposition on arrival & ignore visitors in kitchen room. Reception & breakfast room in separate building, locks not great, no chains on doors so security problems. No brakes on doors so lots of banging. More banging when toilets flush. Electric plugs don't work, loose cables on tv which... More

The White House Hotel doesn't seem to exist as such - it's a corner of the Seymour Hotel. Having endured an ill-mannered concierge (who didn't speak English fluently) and a reg. form demanding intrusive/irrelevant personal details, I ended up in a rather cramped room, with a matchbox-sized bathroom. The latter being the major problem - the shower, because it was... More

We only had a couple of days in London so it was important to us that we were close to all the important sites we wanted to see. It was disappointing to walk into such a shabby hotel with such a tiny room and bathroom which hardly qualifies as such. We survived but then we spent very little time in... More

I have stayed at White House hotel 2 night and I was happy about my choose because it got the underground station right at 100 meters. So I was able to move around London easily while I was staying in a cheap place. I have just spend to stay there around 40 pounds per night. No bad at all

Although the hotel is called the "White House Hotel," this is but one block of a series of hotels located in the same building that are run by one outfit. The White House Hotel is the name appearing on booking sites, as the management deemed this a name that sticks to people's minds. The reception for all the hotels is... More

More of a bed and breakfast than hotel although the breakfast leaves a lot to the imagination. Outside of the building was lovely, but you have to walk back and forth between hotels to book in. Reception area in the Seymore hotel (the reception) is grubby and depressing. Our room had a window that looked out onto another wall, there... More

Anything is good at this "hotel", apart from the fact that there is unreachable free wi-fi and the bathroom is probably the smallest in the world's. The worst thig was - at this hotel were copied my credit cards and subsequently were stolen 6,000 euro from my accounts. I warn all who would like to stay in this hotel.

We went to London in Sept 2013 with my kids, just for a day. My husband had been in this hotel before, so we decided to go back based on his good experience. The hotel is really good, and the location is great, just a block from the subway, 2 or 3 stations to Piccadily Circus .... The personnel very... More

It was functional - ie a room with breakfast. But that was it. The room was small and tired, the bathroom was small, all worked, but tired - basically the whole place was tired and could do with bucket loads of TLC. On the redeeming side all the staff we engaged with were friendly. Personally a Travelodge would have been... More

Didn't know that you can get such an ugly room for such a price. Everything very old and smelly, not very cosy toilet/shower box, smells a bit of urine, traffic noise. Had booked for white House Hotel, had to check in at Seymour Hotel next door and was then given a room in the Berkeley Court Hotel in the same... More
