The hotel has very good location. Service is on another level. I have to pick up approach of Aradom who was very friendly and funny from our first touch. He helped us with every question and also told us how to plan our trip in the city. Every hotel should have guy like this.

Hotel's Favorite
Our 1st stay there. Despite of some small shortages – I would not reduce 20% of points in the 5-stage scale thus happy to give 5. Ready to stay there again. Location: a good location with a view and ca 10min walk to Westminster. Vauxhall Underground station is ca 5min walk (NB! Google maps gives bus no.77 the most comfortable way to reach the hotel but Underground is more comfortable according to my opinion). Some small shops nearby and also The Rose Pub that I really recommend. Personnel: professional and friendly. Obviously after C19 it takes a bit time to organize the working processes with the new stuff to the highest level. For example I asked an extra blanket and heater from the reception. The reception lady finally found a piece of paper to write it down but after 2 hours there was nothing so I called from the room. Then we got the heater but no blanket. Finally we got the blanket also. Also there was a kind of confusion with heating. We had 2 rooms and it worked in 1 room only. The FM-guy told the summer season started and it should not work there neither. In the lobby we were told that heating should work. Anyway – we got a heater and it helped. Breakfast: on the 1st floor (and also on the 12th floor’s executive lounge with a great view. I do not know why we were offered one breakfast there but we are grateful for that). Good selection, very tasty. Specially I would like to mention about bacon – it was tasty and juicy, not overcooked like in many cases. Also fruits were very tasty (so juicy and sweet plums were a real surprise!). Also a coffee was very good! Room: big (incl for morning exercises), clean, comfortable (incl for office work). Free&fast internet. Night-curtains (with remote closing-opening). A fridge for beverages. Bathroom: big, clean, well equipped. A basin’s sidetable – there was even more free place after my wife unpacked her cosmetics. A bath. Shower enclosure with a thermostatic mixer and surprisingly strong water pressure. Just a toilet brush was missing. Sleep: one of the most comfotable beds and pillows I have ever had in hotels. Specially I would like to say good about the pillow. Spa: a swimming pool with some sunbeds, steam sauna, Finnish sauna. Lockers for your belongings. One evening Finnish sauna was ca 90C, then next evening for some reason just 50-60C (seemed to be turned off but actually it was just at ca 19.00). Towels and drinking water available. Gym: a well-equipped hotel-gym. Some gym mats would be good to have also (probably removed due to C19). Drinking water and lockers available.

The service at this hotel has really improved, in no small part due to Simone’s arrival to head up customer service. If you are booking then I very strongly recommend adding a river view to your package (no trains) and requesting a room away for the lifts. You should be ok with the river views although there are some quiet internal rooms too. Food is very nice at this hotel and the service is great - get in early for breakfast as there can be a queue (it’s a big hotel so I skipped it last time). Not a bad location at all and a walk across the bridge to most of the key sites in London if you’re here on a leisure trip. Room service choices are always god at this hotel if you’re there on business. Thanks to Simone and team for pulling the stops out for me - with such a huge hotel to take care of itis no mean feat to make the service personal.

This was our eight stay in this hotel and on the seven previous stays, our stay was faultless. I want to single out the young man called Anis who checked us in, and gave us a free room upgrade to a river view room. This was very much appreciated by myself and my girlfriend, and it made an already enjoyable stay all the more magical. Anis you are a credit to this hotel, and I hope that my feedback and appreciating can be passed on to Anis. I only wish I could remember all of the members of staff who we dealt with on our stay as they are a big credit to this hotel. The check in was fast and hassle free, and we were given two room cards for unlocking the room door, and also to activate the lift from the ground floor. On arriving in the room, it was immaculately clean EVERYWHERE. The bed sheets did not have a crease on them, and the room we got (on the 7th floor) had a shower cubicle and bath. The bathroom was beautifully fitted out and there was even some shower gels arranged on the sink area. The bed was I'm pretty sure a king size (definitely bigger than a double bed) it was very comfortable and had two pillows on each side. We had a large screen TV in our room (I would hazard a guess at least 50 inch). Beside each side of the bed (and just inside the room near the door) is as little control console which is used to control the temperature of the room, the air conditioning, the various light options, open/close the blinds. The curtains are very thick and keep out the light exceptionally well. We had a desk, chair, in our room and also a room safe. The room was cleaned numerous times on our 3 night stay, and towels, toiletries were replenished. At the end of our stay we checked out, and the concierge arranged to have our luggage looked after till later in the afternoon as our train home was not till 5:30. Me and my girlfriend want to say a big thank you to all the members of staff who we dealt with on our stay, they all are a big credit to this hotel. We look forward to staying here again in July 2024 on our next stay in London.

Celebrating my 25th stay in this hotel over the last few years! Simone and her team on the front desk never fail to make me smile when I arrive - they bend over backwards to help me with any personal or work related requirements. It’s great to be welcomed at the bar and restaurant each time and nearly always I get my favourite seat at breakfast! It’s the personal touch and the reason I continue to come back! Thank again to you all

Hotel is good. Rooms are large and comfy, staff are helpful and it's well located. Two main issues: - Food is expensive, so most people order food here from nearby establishments. - Bathroom needs a bit of a clean, there is a lot of limescale staining.

My daughter booked a stay here for me and my wife for my 60th birthday, she booked a superior king size room for us. We arrived a bit early to check in as we were going to the theatre, the reception told us the room wasn't ready, but allocated a room with a river view for when we returned later, upon our return we were handed our room key, went to our room and let ourselves in, imagine our surprise when someone else was in our room, they'd given our room to someone else. Back to reception to sort it out, they gave us another room, not the king size we booked, instead we got a twin, with no view, to add insult to injury, the room hadn't been cleaned properly, crumbs on the tv shelf, bits of whatever on the floor etc, and to cap it off - the previous occupants dirty glass complete with lemon slices and an empty cola bottle on the floor, again back to reception, after raising the issue, the receptionist disappeared into the back office for what seemed like an age, eventually returning to inform me housekeeping would come and clean the room, I returned to the room where the housekeeping were cleaning the room, the cleaner had the most awful personal hygiene, the overpowering smell of body odour.... seriously? How can you put staff with personal hygiene issues in a customer facing role? That done, we settled into our single beds, and then it began... our room backed onto the lift shaft, imagine a shopping trolley with a wonky wheel... D.D.D.D.D.D.D.D.D. as the lift went up and down, ALL NIGHT LONG. An awful night of hardly any sleep. This wasn't a great experience, the only saving grace was the breakfast was fine. Sorry Park Plaza Riverbank, you were a big let down. I feel very sorry for my daughter having booked this for a special occasion, and we didn't get what she expected.
