Stayed for one night, I have stayed in student accommodation before so I knew what to expect but for £50 with cooked breakfast its OK but if they want more than £70 might be looking at some of the better tourists hotels in Earls Court or Paddington of Bayswater that offer En-suite , TV and a more homely feel.

The main reason I chose this accommodation was the excellent location. It's a short walk to the Angel tube station (one stop from Kings Cross). My room was basic with a single bed, desk and basin - shared bathroom facilities were a short walk along the corridor. A cafeteria style cooked breakfast was included. It was a little noisy at... Short walk from angel station. Reception was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Shared toilets/showers weren't the greatest idea. We hadn't expected them to be unisex. Shower doors were short, so not as private as they could be. Maybe it's an age thing, but we thought it was a little odd, even for students. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice... More

Great central location, approx 15 minutes walk from Kings Cross, 5 minutes to Angel tube station. Breakfast very good and included in price. Some of the rooms (the 2 person in particular) are a bit small, so maybe not so good for longer stays - but excellent value for 2-3 night stay.

Great stay for price! Not to far from the underground or the city. In a student area which is fun. Comfortable and no complaints. I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend if you are traveling to London. :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a walking distance from "Angel" subway station. In the heart of London, just one station away from King cross. Rooms were very clean. The breakfast was delicious too :)

Good: - Good location - walkable distance to major attractions but also close to metro stops and fast-food shops - Individual rooms as opposed to dormitories - very good breakfast! - games room makes a good communal area - good price for being in London Bad: - shared shower room/toilets - it's a bit of a trek down the corridor... LSE Rosebery Hall is a modern student accommodation complex located on Rosebery Avenue in North London. This is a very handy location with frequent bus service into central London and a fifteen minute walk to Angel tube station and the restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs of Islington. During university holidays, rooms are available for visitors to rent. A full English... More

Having sadly never made it to University it is interesting to come here (for the second time) to get a feel of what student life would have been like. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The room we had was en suite. Yes it could do with a lick of paint here and there, but nothing major. The rooms are... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
