My daughter (age 8) and I stayed at Oyo Bakers Hotel for one night, in a twin room with private facilities. We had travelled to London by coach to see a show. The hotel is in very easy reach of the coach station, and we were able to walk to the show from there too. The hotel is very well presented, clean and comfortable. The gentleman behind the reception desk was kind and courteous. The breakfast room was small but clean and there were a variety of breads, bagels, waffles etc on offer as well as cereals, fruit and meats/cheeses. Hot and cold drinks. We stayed in room 7 which is up several flights of stairs - not a problem for us but might be if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues. The room itself was small but perfectly adequate, and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay there again.

The number one positive for this small hotel is it’s location. We took an express train from the airport to Victoria Station and walked the few blocks to the hotel. Over the next four days we visited four museums and saw three plays all within reasonable walking distance. We never had to take “the tube.” Our room was small, but clean. The breakfast was modest at best—I purchased my own whole wheat bread at a nearby grocery to make toast. Given the location and price, I would consider staying there again.

The staff were very nice and helpful but being couple over 75 years of age and one of us being over 6ft tall our room was up four flights of narrow stairs. The room was snug with not much room to move about and the bathroom/shower was small. The hotel was clean and the bedding and towels were of good quality but our room (7) overlooked the street which was quite noisy. The wifi was good but the television did not work for the two nights were there and the staff could not fix it. The continental breakfast was on the sparce side. The coffee machine was very good. The hotel is approximately five minutes easy walking to Victoria Station and Coach Station with access to the Victoria and circle lines with shops close by but not large stores

small room, uncomfortable bed, really noisy, thin walls, peeling paint, depressing view from window, tasteless breakfast, broken items, missing items e.g. sink plug, dining room felt like a truckers cafe, sock over the fire sensor? went to the kitchen for water and it was like a squat with mouse traps, receptionist was indifferent to complaints

Conveniently situated a short walk from Victoria Station, the rooms are very clean, bright and modern and everything looks newly refurbished. Ours was up 6 flights of stairs (75 in all) and there doesn’t seem to be a lift.?The staircase is narrow, so this hotel isn’t suitable for people with limited mobility unless you can get a ground floor room. Breakfast is in the basement and consists of sugary cereals, yogurt and white baked goods, so no healthier options. You could skip it altogether and go to one of the cafes a short walk away if you were after something more interesting. The coffee machine serves a good selection and there’s also tea and infusions to make yourself. As to be expected in the Summer, it’s hot and you need to sleep with the windows open and duvet off as air conditioning in England is not a thing except in top end hotels

Dear CaptainWestYorkshire, Great you found us "clean, bright and modern". We are trying to continuously improve and value your feedback. Unfortunately nothing we can do about the lift, physically just not possible to install one, but we can assist with luggage and will always try and allocate a room on a lower floor if possible. We hope to see you again soon. Try coming to use direct for a discount.
