After I entered the room, I found there was no water. Waited for half an hour there was drips of water. I had to use a mug to collect it. The reception did not tell me when I checked in. I went to see reception and they said they would get technician to repair. So I continue to wait. No news for the whole night. No water for the whole night. The next day morning there was no water. I could not brush my teeth nor wash my face. Of course I could not shower. I travelled to London with 19 hours of flight and had to work the next day. This was the most terrible experience I had in travelling. The worst in my life.
The rooms are quite big for London standards and are neat and clean. Breakfast is rather elaborate with local products an A-branded cereals. Reception is open 24/7. One minor remark, there’s no Bloomberg TV.
Perfect location for Kings Cross/ St Pancras. The family were headed out on an early Eurostar & it was a simple and stress free 5 minute walk. Our spacious suite (even with a travel cot) was well equipped and perfectly quiet. The staff were amazing, top class, helpful, friendly and even funny and amusing at times. Would definitely use again.
We stayed here for 2 nights, friendly staff, clean, modern and spacious rooms. Continental breakfast was fantastic, variety to choose and receptive to allergies. Close to transport. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
We booked this hotel because of it’s convenient location near St. Pancras station. The location is convenient. It is slightly hard to find. Turn right as you exit the station and look for the Barclays sign across the street. Head that direction. Argyle is a small side street on your left. The hotel is about 3/4 up the block on the left, with signage that is not very visible. Although the hotel was convenient, our family “suite” was in the basement, next to a toilet, and across the hall from the area where the free breakfast is served. The suite had two rooms, one of which did not have a window. The noise from the kitchen/free breakfast area woke us at about 6 am, and we could hear everyone’s conversation while they had breakfast. If you simply need a place close to the station, this is close. But do avoid “suite 4” or any of the basement rooms. The bathroom was clean, shower only, with a wobbly glass door that came off its track. We did not stay have the breakfast, so don’t know about the quality of the food. We would not stay here again. The basement room was depressing, dark and dismal.…
