Loved our stay! We were in London for a week with my husband and infant daughter for a mix of work and pleasure. Our suite was large and luxurious but comfortable; all top notch amenities including a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso machine and washer/dryer. The staff placed a crib with a lovely blanket in the room and the... More

The hotel and the staff provide you the best luxury experience with a touch of Asia. The rooms, the lawns the restaurants all are incredible. The location is excellent a highly recommended hotel in SW London.

Our daughter finds this hotel a second home. She has stayed more than 25 times and we repeatedly like to come back. The staff are very courteous and friendly. Cleanliness of the hotel during all our stay is highly appreciated.

I had a 7 days trip to London for my recent long holidays. Usually for long stay, I divide my stay to several hotels. I stayed 4 nights at the Goring and the remaining 3 nights, I decided to try something a bit more budget minded, maybe a service apartment with the usual “homely” convenience like a kitchen and a... Overrated, a lot nicer/trendyer hotels possible for better money, we were not impressed by the so called "suites", a very big staff but no efficiency, 5 people at breakfast for 3 guests, very close to Buckingham palace, and walking, 30 min, distance to Bond street, Piccadilly circus etc...

This was one of the finest hotel experiences I have ever had. I am a frequent business travel and have stayed in several very nice properties and this hotel ranks among the best ever. The level of service by the entire hotel staff from start to finish is five star. This would be the only place I will stay at... More

My wife and I stayed at the Taj in Buckingham Gate from the 8th to the 14th this month in a King suite. The hotel, situated near St James Park is in an excellent location, and a great position from which to enjoy the delights of London. The hotel staff were very helpful, supportive and very competent. Clearly well trained,... More

Friendly and professional reception. Can't get better location than this with walking proximity to all the main attractions - if you're a tourist. Nice common grounds/areas. Easy to get taxis or access the tube. Had our suits pressed in less than one day, and we had a problem with our shower leaking out and they had maintenance fix it almost... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
