We stayed in a 3 bedroom presidential suite for a week. We had been booked into a 3 bedroom King's suite but upon check in we were offered the choice of an upgrade at a substantial increase. After viewing both suites we decided that the...More
It has been a couple of years since we stayed at the Taj 51. There has been an extensive renovation project at the property and, therefore, feel that I need to give an update to an old review. I loved the hotel then and I...More

Wonderful experience which enhanced our visit to Buckingham Palace for my mother's MBE! The staff were attentive and the rooms luxurious. Lots of nice touches. Hence my first every review on tripadvisor!

This hotel has the full package. Excellent location, clean spacious rooms, and 5 star service you expect from a hotel like this. My kids are still talking about how much they loved it. We can’t wait to come back someday.
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
