the hotel was ok nice tidy rooms, but the breakfast was disgusting, don't cater for vegetarians or vegans. very limited selection and the coffee was disgusting. I would book a room only next time and go to costa.

We arrived at aprox 5pm, had to wait a few minutes to check in, as there was one lady working on reception. Once we got to the front of the queue, check in was efficient and we were given our keycards. Room was set up for 2, even though it was booked for 3. I called reception to request towels, cups etc shortly after getting into the room and was was told to collect from reception. As we were heading out, I tried collect at 9.30 the following morning and was told someone would deliver to the room. I called reception at 11am & again at 12.30 as we hadn't received anything. They were brought to the room after the 2nd chasing phonecall. I was able to get soya milk, veggie sausages & Weetabix at breakfast the 1st morning, no yogurt available though. There were no veggie sausages or Weetabix available the 2nd morning. When the sofa bed was opened, there was an approximate 10cm gap between the end of the sofa bed & the wall. At night, if one of us got up to visit the bathroom, everyone was woken up by the noise. Is this kind of obstruction not a fire risk? I'm fortunate that my child is older, but for parents with younger children in bed early, this would be an impossible room to say in, we had the option of closing the sofa bed before bedtime, so we could move round the room. The shower temperature etc was fine, but the hose was filthy and was taped in the middle where it had split. The room was generally clean, though the tea tray and spoons were grubby. The location was good, an appropriate 15 minute walk from the tube station, it was roughly 25 minute journey to Green Park.

Upon checking in .... I emailed the hotel that we would be paying cash on arrival. And no reply was given to Mr. So we arrived and handed over cash...told sorry no cash... I then pointed out that nothing on booking.com to state this nor did I get a response from email. Was told to bring passport for id... this was not even asked for or looked out. Room was nice and big, comfortable beds, but the shower.... please invest in a power shower.. the water pressure is a joke... and lack of hot water... warm at the very most. Cleaners came in every day. Which I was surprised about. The breakfast...... Well..... if u are a vegan, vegetarian sorry... u have toast. On offer is..... cereal, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, toast . Tea and coffee. Orange and apple juice (I dont recommend the apple juice ...rough). Didn't eat at the Chinese below..the over priced food put me right off. But it looked busy most nights. The price we paid it was good for the hotel. And for somewhere as a base while in London. Its not bad. But look for deals. I definitely wouldn't pay more than what we did for the room and breakfast.

We waited in a half hour queue to try and check in (at our check in time) we finally got to the front of the queue and were told our room wasn’t ready and to come back in half hour. We went to the bar and got a drink which was another 20 minute wait. We went back to reception, and after waiting another 10 minutes in a queue, were told again that our room wasn’t ready, we waited for another 10 minutes before being told it was ready. The rooms were clean and nice. There is no main restaurant in this hotel for dinner, but the Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel is the best Chinese ever and it definitely worth going there if you are staying in this hotel! The breakfast at the hotel is buffet, with not a massive selection of food, but adequate. I was waiting to put my bread in the toaster when a worker told me not to use this toaster and to use the other one as the one I wanted to use, kept setting the fire alarm off. While eating breakfast, the toaster caught fire and of course, set the alarm off. If staff know there is an issue with something, remove it, or cover it to stop things like this happening. The hotel isn’t the best, but the rooms are fine, and it’s. convenient because it is a 10-20 minute walk to the O2 arena.
