Room was clean and tidy and an ideal size. The beds were comfy and we got the choice of a firm or soft pillow. The o2 is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel although it is along a busy road, but a nice walk if its not raining! The breakfast was delicious. I was nicely surprised by what... More

Loved it. Will definitely visit again when in London. Minimal comfort gives I've just what you need, reasonably priced and conveniently situated just outside London. Basic breakfast included is a nice touch, unlike other hotels where you pay a fortune for breakfast and get nowhere near your money's worth.

Perfect location if you are at the O2 for a show, 15 minute walk. Great to see the long queues for the tube and massive traffic jams as we strolled back to the hotel. Beds comfy and rooms clean. Only downside is the poor bathroom. Broken floor tiles and a shower with absolutely no pressure. Would of been quicker to... More

Stayed for one night, pleasant hotel, room comfy, close to the o2, breakfast included in the price , on a busy road but no noise at all. Free coffee in room, hairdryer and toiletries.Stayed on the 3rd floor very quiet.

I went with my husband on Sunday, a night away from the babies to see a show at the O2. We were put in one of the non smoking newly refurbished rooms which we were told had only been finished a week. My husband dropped something on the floor, bent down to pick it up to find a used cannabis... More

Booked for one night to attend concert at O2 Arena. Staff were pleasant but not overly friendly. Room was comfortable, clean & nicely decorated. Aircon/heater was rather noisey. Did not stay for breakfast due to early start for home. Would stay again as reasonably priced.

Paper thin walls, a breakfast buffet that makes a student halls of residents cafe more like a Raddison and a car park that charges you through the roof! Rubbish if your paying over £60 per night. Obviously there catching the captivated 02 arena crowd.

Very small room. Functional, but simple and only basic furnishings. Not centrally situated, quite a distance from Greenwich train station and city centre. No shuttle service, making it traveller- unfriendly. Too remote for an express service. Friendly staff, although not suitably skilled or conversant in the English language. No room service offered. Good, no frill breakfast. Expensive rate for such... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
