If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.

It's not a hotel so don't expect hotel accommodations. We were with a group of scouts. We had easy access to public transit as well as local attractions. It is old and the floors are squeaky and the rooms were small but having affordable accommodations that included linens, a k

If you stayed in student accommodation before I'm sure like me you'll know it's basic and clean and does the job. This place however is dirty, I'll spare you the adjectives, the beds were dusty and horrible the carpet filthy, the floors creaked everywhere you walked, sink filthy,

Don't expect the Ritz when you stay here because you will be sorely disappointed. It's old, It's worn but it's in a fantastic area. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk to Buckingham Palace and another five to Picadilly. Close to Victoria railway station and bus number 11 whic

It's the most hideous place I ever stayed in. The single room is befitting for dwarfs probably. The curtains and bed were full of dust and I could feel that the room has not been cleaned for ages. Most of the things weren't working, e.g., elevator, bathrooms. WORST EXPERIENCE EVE

I travelled to London on a school trip in June of 2015. We stayed at Wigram House and were sad to leave. The rooms were clean and my twin room, shared with another student, was plenty room enough for us both. The view from our 6th floor room was spectacular as we were at the fron

Hello! I stayed in an apartment at Wigram House. It has one bedroom with a double bed and the lounge room has a pull-out sofa bed that is also double. There is a galley style kitchen and a small washroom. All space in the apartment is private and you do not need to share with other guests. There is only one sofa, a desk and a chair in the apartment. There is no kitchen table so you will have to be creative for meals. The space will be tight for 4 people, but it will work. It is perhaps the most economical solution in the area. The location of Wigram House is terrific and the staff were excellent!

"A room at the front of the building on a higher floor will offer great views and virtually no street noise"
"Rooms on the front of the building on the street have leafy views, but are more noisy due to traffic on the street."
"Preferably a room with a view to Westminster Cathedral"
"Spend just a little more to have a nice stay in London"
"room facing Thirleby Road"
