It was a great place, not so expensive, very close to the tube stations, between downtown and Wembley, where we attended a Muse Concert. In front of a shopping Mall with come food options. the people were nice at the hotel, except for a redhead guy in the front desk. Breakfast was actually very good. I recommend it.

Within walking distance of the underground, clean, great size room, comfortable beds and extremely helpful staff. Very pleased with the overall stay, always felt safe, as they require card keys to get into the hotel after 7PM, though the area is very busy and commercial. There is a mall across the street with restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. Will...

Good points: The reception staff were friendly enough. Easy to get to central London on the tube or bus. Takes about 10 - 15 mins on the tube. Lots of restaurants nearby either opposite the hotel, Swiss Cottage or Kilburn. Room was spacious, quiet (ours overlooked the hotel car park and not Finchley Road) and had air-con which was welcome...

The staff were welcoming and helpful, spending time on my 'extra' questions and speeding the process of check-in/out when queues looked likely to build up. The hotel is located on a busy road, but I found it quiet, well-maintained and secure. The bed was enormous, perhaps too big for the room! There's a tube station 2 minutes walk away and...

I booked a 4 night stay several months in advance and so got a good rate which worked out to something like 60 pounds per night. I requested for a back facing non smoking room and this was honoured. The twin room was a bit small but adequate, very clean with a flat screen TV and coffee/tea making facilities, The...

It was our first time staying at the Holiday Inn Express at Finchley Road after being recommended by a friend who travels to London frequently. Since it's an 'express' version, the breakfast provided is much more basic than the other usual hotels. The room was clean and basic but we found the bed a little hard for our liking and...

I have a week-long reservation (I'm managing a program with a module in London so I brought a group of 25 here). I personally confirmed my reservation weeks ago for a NON-smoking room, and when I arrived I found that I was given a room that stinks like smoke. After I talked with each person at the reception they confirmed...

We stayed for one night at this hotel and thought it was a really good experience. We requested a cot in the room which was there on arrival. Breakfast was included and at £ 68 a night we will definitely go back. Location wise, tube/buses near but also half an hour walk to Regent's Park/Primrose Hill. All in all would...

My husband and I stated here for three nights at the start of our holiday in August. We had stayed in other Holiday Inn Express hotels so we knew what to expect - nothing fancy, but the basics done well. The room and bathroom were clean, and (unlike other reviewers for this hotel) we had no problems regulating the in-room...

We arrived from Stansted Airport with the National Express bus which stops directly in front of the hotel, so that was easy. The underground station "Finchley Road" is very close and it doesn't take a lot of time to get to the centre, maybe 15 minutes. (Little tip for Beatles fans: The Abbey Road crossroad is only two stops away...
