The saying you get what you pay for applies for this hotel £80 per night is very little to pay in London. Although an easy walk to Paddington Station, this hotel is not in the best part of town. This is more like a one night motel style place. No air conditioning and a window I did not feel safe... More

Have stayed here a few times and for the price it's great value. The hotel's location is it's best asset as it's only a couple of mins walk away from kings cross underground. Other Pros is that a help yourself buffet breakfast is included in the price (choice of cornflakes, full cooked English breakfast, toast, tea, coffee, orange juice &... More

Clean good location .Very small bathroom .It was a cubicle built in the bedroom .It is ok for a couple of nights .I found the area ok .A good breakfast .Ideal if you are on a budget . It could do with being upgraded a bit .But it did seem to be busy with lots of different age groups and... More

We are small people and have low expectations and that is a good thing. If we were tall or big and had high expectations the stay would have been disastrous. The rooms are so so so small....Great location and quiet enough for being so close to the train station. Awesome eateries and pubs close by in the residential area. And... More

The room I stayed in was the original kitchen and breakfast room on the ground floor. Access from the street was not secure and I remember waking up to finding someone trying the window. Handy for the tubes and buses, although the area itself can be intimidating and not one where you should set out in the evening unless really... More

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and I think it is good value. The rooms and en suite facilities are not huge but perfectly adequate and are very clean. The rooms have laminate flooring and a TV, and there is a good shower with hot water. A good breakfast is included in the price and... More

I normally stay in another hotel unfortunately it was fully booked so I chose the European based on the photos and the location. The photographs must have been taken a long time ago. It is a VERY basic hotel. My room was a single. I have stayed in single rooms before but this was tiny. One cupboard had been turned... More

Good value for this area of London and an ideal choice if catching the Eurostar as only 5 minutes walk from St Pancras. Our room was small and basic as was the ensuite but clean. Comfortable beds and the room was at the back so very quiet at night. Slightly cool reception but then I guess not many people stay... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
