To be ten people was perfect at the hostel. One room for all of us and the feeling of security and trust. The resepsjon was funky and the bar played old school songs who made me wanna dance! The guards was protective and fun to talk to! Especially one guard I talked to on the outside when I was one...

The overall atmosphere of the hostel was great, with a friendly bar and social areas. The room was nice, but the under-bed lockers were all broken, so not secure, even with a padlock. There were no lights or plug sockets in the individual bunks. The bathroom facilities were disgusting. Toilets didn't flush, sinks were always dirty and the floor was...

The hostel has very good location and the staff is great. The only thing is that you have to pay for everything, like the lockerooms and the towels. The other thing is that the check out is very early, i didn't like that. The good thing is that the rooms are good and the bathrooms are nice, and the decoration...

Very basic accommodation but the room and bedding was clean. The Generator is a good concept as it provided everything required for an overnight stay. However, although there was security outside I did not feel safe within the Hostel especially at night.

Hostel is close to centre of London, particularly Oxford Street and the West End. Serviced my multiple tube and train stops. Hostel has a huge range of facilities including an onsite bar and cafe, chill out spaces, laundry, secure paid lockers. The vibe of the property was fantastic. Amentities were clean and there was a sufficient number of bathroom facilities...

This chain of hostels is pretty good. They are typically centrally located and updated. All the rooms are clean. We booked online during a winter sale that promised twenty percent off. My be and I booked on our computers at the same time. However the prices of the rooms originally searched were one price, but then when you clicked the...

I needed a bed and I got one. The location is good. It´s a 5-minute-walk away from Russel Sq. Tube station. A shopping centre is on the way from the GEN to Russel Sq. I got my breakfast and coffee here. My booking said "8-bed-dorm". I got a bed in a 10-bed-dorm. Fortunately not all of the 10 beds were...

Hi 806carsten, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we are pleased that your room was not full so you were able to relax. It has a great location, but the rooms are a bit small and as well luggage space. The breakfast did not hold up to 4£, you can ugrade to a better one for 6£ but both not worth it, if you want something tasty and with quality. Easy to get to know people, I was lucky staying with some really...

It's a good hostel full of things but there are some details that I didnt like. For example there is no kitchen so you have to pay for everything, if you want a tea or coffee pay for it when the bar is open, you can't do it by your own. To leave your bags you have to pay. There...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
