We loved our stay here in Queen 4 on the ground floor. Spotlessly clean, the decor was both fun and quirky (tiger wallpaper feature wall, bright orange Smeg fridge, orange cushions), one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. The room is small, the bathroom very small, but there were so many extras — beer, wine and soft drinks, Kit Kats in the fridge, a morning trolley outside the door delivering freshly made tea, biscuits, the newspaper, fresh towels, extra toilet paper. Quiet at night even though we faced the street, a ceiling fan to keep the room airy without having to open the windows. Such friendly staff, especially Yannis who is so lovely to talk with and keen to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Very close and easy walk to the Kings Cross underground and train station and St Pancras international train station. Several very nice restaurants and cafes in the streets behind the hotel, including The Lucas Arms Hotel at the end of the street serving well priced pub food. It’s a breath of fresh air compared with other grotty, overpriced hotels in this area (which we unfortunately experienced). Very happy to recommend. We’ll stay here again when in London.

We have just returned from the roxky townhouse. We stayed in the penthouse suite for new years. The area is fantastic, near to St pancreas, kings Cross, buses, tube and restaurants. However the townhouse is located on a residential road and it is peaceful. Check in was at 2pm and we were sent a door code to gain access to the hotel and room.

The hotel was lovely and warm with nice decor. Our room was beautifully decorated and it even had a record player, a fridge disguised as a speaker and a comfy chair, desk area and a very comfy bed. The onsuite bathroom was also good.

There was a free mini bar which consisted of beer, wine, water, pop and energy drinks. Also plenty of tea and coffee 2 packets of crisps, 2 chocolate bars and a handmade cucumber sandwich. Also the hotel left us a present from fortnum and Mason which was a lovely jar of jam. We were told we could go to the main hotel anytime we liked for barista coffee and both of the mornings we were there we were left fresh pots of tea, biscuits, fresh towels and toilet rolls. These touches were above and beyond any hotel we have stayed at.

Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely return. Thank you to the rokxy townhouse staff for being so lovely and welcoming and we wish you a happy new year 🎉

My friend and I stayed for two nights in the 'Queen 3' room on our trip to London, the location of the hotel is perfect, 5 minute walk from Kings Cross!

The room itself is small but was well equipped with a small kitchenette, bathroom (with shower), queen-size bed, TV, fan, hair dryer and small kitchen appliances.

We were greeted on arrival with a lovely gift and a well stocked (FREE!) mini bar! The room was warm due to the London Summertime but the fan helped a lot, it was quite a load fan, but I like the white noise!

We were pleasantly surprised in the morning to find a trolley outside our room with freshly made tea, the morning paper, a snack and fresh towels (both mornings!). There is no front desk however we had no issue contacting the staff on the mobile number we'd been given the room code on, they always replied quickly and were able to help with our queries (like supplying an iron and ironing board the next morning, and storing our luggage on the day we checked out so we could adventure London handsfree!)

I can't say enough good things about the staff, they were super friendly and very helpful and attentive.

My only criticism is the toilet flush wasn't great and the shower was an overhead shower only, where I would prefer a shower with a moveable head as to not get my hair wet - but as they provided a hair dryer it wasn't the end of the world!

We didn't get a chance to try the Arcade room, but would love to return to the hotel, so maybe we can try it then!

Thank you for a great stay!

This my honest review, first impressions. We checked our bags in at sister hotel in the morning, we finally got back to the rokzy at around 5 pm, walking down the road to the end of the square to where the hotel is and all I can say it was like walking in to a scene from TOPBOY, big Range Rover parked 20 mts down the street from hotel opposite the park full of blokes clearly dealing or handed out drugs to youths coming back and forth from the park opposite our hotel. It left after about half hour. I get it not the hotels fault but I’m just saying. Entered hotel via code and up the very tight stair case to our first floor penthouse room again via code, no problem. Room was a lot smaller than it looks in photo, no where to put a suitcase apart from on the floor or on the bed. Room was clean, but in my opinion again very deceiving from the photos on website, didn’t get the high end feeling that the photos portrayed, all a bit cheap as in furniture like bedside cabinets and fridge which was very noisy . En-suite was tiny it was clean but very small, you bend over to brush your teeth in sink and your arse touches the door, the shower was nice but if you turned round to quick you opened the horrible curtain because you catch with your arms, very small shower, the door was cheap and hard to close with the bottom of it hacked away and all rough. It was really nice the little touches and extras you get, like the little present on the bed which was a fortnum and mason jar of jam, and the drinks in the fridge and crisps and kitkats. There’s no where apart from some coat hangers on the back of the door to hang any clothes, no cupboards to put any clothes. Bed was really uncomfortable way to soft, and every time you moved the head board moved, maybe some people might like that but in my opinion the mattress was past its best. The staff were really nice who we met, the room was clean but not high end at all , looked a bit tacky not like the photos. Our room over looked the park, this isn’t a park like you may think, the park is in the middle of the square with a basket ball court down the far end and just like some waste ground at the top end all very nicely fenced around. Our room the penthouse (penthouse in name but not in nature) faced the road and park , thank god for the ear buds provided, it was quite noisy with music playing really loudly until about 1am then at around 6am a van was outside somewhere on the street banging about unloading god knows what for an hour, all that with the fridge sounding like it’s going to blow up,every hour for 10 Minutes didn’t make a good nights sleep. The hotel tried really hard but in my opinion it wasn’t for me. I mean it isn’t cheap and falls short of that luxurious boutique hotel. It’s a great location for King’s Cross station. Sadly I won’t be staying again.

From the moment I received the access code - no queues waiting to check in - to the moment I left - with a fresh cup of tea inside me - the whole experience was personalised and glorious. The owners of the Rokxy Townhouse have gone the extra mile, and more, to ensure that ever detail of the stay was perfect. It's a very convenient location to Kings Cross station, and St Pancras, with he option to leave luggage before a 2pm arrival (nice and early) or after an 11am checkout (helpful late). The room (I was in the King's Suite) was huge, with a sitting area and outside patio, as well as a cosy sunken bathroom. The perks - complimentary mini-bar; snacks (including freshly-made sandwiches when I arrived); Nespresso coffee; newspaper - really made it feel like a home-from-home. And the bed-and-duvet are one of the comfiest I've ever slept in. if I'd not had a train to catch, and freshly brewed tea arriving at 8.15am to drink, I'd be in there still. And all this for a price which is more than competitive with other hotels around ..... I can't wait to visit again!

Handy location for Eurostar
Stayed for two nights - it’s a comfortable hotel in a great location if you are catching an early Eurostar train.
Room was tiny but comfortable as I was solo this wasn’t a problem. Theres a great sized fridge and a microwave and kettle.
Bed was very comfortable.
It’s a ‘lock up’ hotel with a neat system you get a key code which gets you into the hotel, your room and access to your WiFi.
There’s lots of free snacks and drinks too.
Breakfast arrives outside your door - but don’t get too excited as it’s a pack of biscuits!
My room was on the third floor and there is no lift.
I found it impersonal and functional.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear that you found our location convenient for the Eurostar, and that the room’s amenities, including the fridge, microwave, and kettle, added to your comfort. It’s also great to know that you slept well in our beds and that the key code system was easy to use. The complimentary tea and biscuits we provide are a little extra we like to offer our guests, but we don’t advertise it as breakfast. We understand that expectations can vary, and we appreciate your feedback. As a townhouse-style property, we don’t have a lift, and we recognize that this may not suit everyone. We do our best to accommodate guests on lower floors when possible. We appreciate your honest thoughts, and while we aim to provide a unique and independent experience, we understand that this may feel different from traditional hotels. If you stay with us again, we’d love to make your visit feel more personal.

This hotel was absolutely amazing, the hosting is beyond exceptional, checking-in was such a breezy, met the lovely Yannis and Nino at the reception where I left my luggage and they made sure to personally leave it in my room for when I came back!!

Throughout the day you see all staff and they're always available with a smile in their face, Neil was always there to assist us whenever needed. They're truly taking care of everything. Even at night there's another receptionist Hossain which assisted me straight away when I called him, he even made sure to make us fresh tea and some biscuits in the morning which are just lovely!! You feel that you are truly being taken care of and not just another guest.

Everything was amazing, the room is perfectly clean with a minibar fully stocked and all free of charge, snacks around the room and even toiletries in case you forgot to bring your own, I asked some extra things for the minibar and they made sure it was there when I checked-in and everything was personalized for me.

I can't say enough how much you feel welcomed here, definitely recommend and hopefully I will come back very very soon to this hotel, which honestly, I can even call home.

This is an amazing place to stay from the moment you arrive to when you check out you feel valued and cared for.
So many extra gestures which make you feel like you are being treated very well from the welcome gift on arrival to the sandwiches that were made for me. I also appreciate the fully stocked minibar which was free. You never normally get that.
I stayed in crash pad five which is the single room but it didn’t feel like a single room. It was nice and spacious and had everything you needed. It was lovely and quiet during the night. I wasn’t disturbed by any noise despite being just across the road from St Pancras.
The decor is quirky and funky and the bed is super comfortable and clean. I also appreciated the trolley that was delivered the following morning with a pot of tea and biscuits and fresh towels etc that was a very thoughtful gesture.
I had an issue with the television upon arriving late back from theatre trip however this was sorted within minutes and I was happy with that.
The staff are amazing such lovely people and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and happy I was able to leave my bag at their sister hotel today so I didn’t have to carry whilst I was walking around which was a real bonus and it’s so close to the train station it was not a problem to go back and fetch it at the end of the day before I got my train. if you are staying in London as a female traveller would highly recommend this place.
I will definitely be back and will not stay anywhere else in London going forward. It’s just so good.

I will return to The Rokxy again and again! Simply the best, most reasonable, and lovely hotel in London. Yannis and his team were helpful and thoughtful; the room was spotless and well-appointed (I especially loved the Oasis album and the turntable!). And arriving to a home-made sandwich was amazing, and so welcome. I recommend this hotel unequivocally, to anyone who wants to stay in a great location (but in a quiet neighborhood), sleep in an extremely comfortable bed, and appreciates exceptional hospitality!

Rokxy Hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from King’s Cross station, making it ideal for us as we were catching an early onward train. The interiors are nicely done, and the thoughtful touches—a welcome gift and handwritten notes - added a personal feel to our stay.

The staff work incredibly hard. While we arrived late and had to manage the steep, narrow staircase ourselves, they did help with luggage during check-out.

There were a few hiccups: the coffee machine in our room didn’t work, and the morning tea arrived with a towel already stained from the staff having to carry a breakfast trolley up three flights of stairs.

If you’re looking for a convenient spot near King’s Cross station with character and a team that really tries, Rokxy Townhouse is worth considering. Just be prepared for the quirks that come with a historic property. Still, these felt like minor oversights in an otherwise attentive service experience.
