Hotel was clean, staff welcoming and breakfast good. Pub opposite served great meals. Handy for transport and just a short walk to Kensington gardens. Would recommend.

Elysee is walking disatance from the train station direct from Heathrow. It is also only feet from the tube and across the street from beautiful Hyde Park. If you go through Lancaster gate and follow the path through the beautiful gardens you will end up across near Harrods. Many local pubs with wonderful food and drink all around the hotel.... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. After reading last reviews here I was bit scared but I must say, we were satisfied. Our room was on 3rd floor. The room was not very big, but on the other hand there was enough space where to put our big luggage. The room was very clean, cleaning service provided every... More

I live in Central London and required a hotel room as the house was overflowing with guests. Recent reviews had caused concern but checking out various other hotels it seems London room rates have gone crazy.Even a dump one star hotels quoted £160 per night so at £120 per night quoted for Elysee it was worth taking a chance. What... More

I was so disappointed with this hotel. I've not stayed at many hotels but I've stayed at a few 3 star hotels in London and they weren't as bad as this. I stayed in a room in the basement and it really felt that you were in a basement; I didn't feel safe at all. Saying the rooms are basic... More

The room was very small, with nowhere to put your suitcase, and no drawers keep your clothes, just a small hanger area with 4 hangers. Carpet was dirty, but otherwise a clean room with A/C which was nice. The hotel was loud with doors banging all the time, and the motion light sensors that don't come on until your almost... More

We were quite let down with this hotel. We spent ages trying to find a hotel to meet our needs to enjoy a few days away in London. One important thing to us is the use if the internet when away. The website made out that free wifi was available, however upon arrival we discovered that we had to pay.... More

While the hotel lacks the charm of some, the small rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. It was an affordable, acceptable alter attire to some of the accommodations in the area.

Okay, so I guess we should've known seeing as it was only a 3-star rated hotel (and after looking back at some of the reviews...eek!) But it definitely is not somewhere you will want to stay for your honeymoon! We were here for 4 days and enjoyed the stay for the most part (the location was spectacular). The staff was... More

we booked our room via booking.com. It cost £125 on a last minute room. IN short they have a floor of rooms which are obviously ordinary rooms cut in half especially for these kind of sites. The room was tiny and was the worst shape. there is a narrow corridor within the room which had a window at the end.... More

ruletheworld, Front Office Manager at Elysee Hotel, responded to this review

The period that the guest booked was an extremely busy one in London and therefore the rate paid was at the top end of the range charged which is £75-130 for double rooms. Even this rate would have represented some of the best value accommodation in London at that time and without doubt the larger chain room rates would have... More
