The Corner London City is a new concept design hotel... and the greenest hotel in London! Located close to bustling Brick Lane and the trendy bars, art galleries and boutiques of Shoreditch, it offers an off-the-charts experience for urban explorers who are hungry for new and unique experiences. Green credentials, quirky style and sociability are the revolutionary values at the heart of the hotel, that set it apart from all other hotels. Our bedrooms are futuristic in design, featuring a unique, all-in-one, cube-shaped pod, which includes the bed and the bathroom. The pod is sustainably built, features Super-King beds with ridiculously comfy organic handmade hypoallergenic mattresses, an integrated 32" LCD TV, reading/mood lighting, UK/EU and USB sockets, hairdryers, and a laptop safe. All our en-suite bathrooms have a powerful rain shower with water-saving technology, a steam-free mirror and luxurious organic toiletries. Bespoke, handmade furniture and locally sourced fixtures and fittings also add personality: no two of our quirky rooms are the same! Complimentary premium tea and coffee is offered on floors 1 to 4. Don't say we don't love you! At The Corner London City, a special attention is given to eco-friendly initiatives (such as solar panels on the roof, strong focus on all things recycling and energy-saving, organic toiletries, etc.) and to supporting the local community, while our calendar of monthly events in the hotel lounge feed our guests' creative hunger and attract the best of the local crowd too. Our in-house bar and restaurant offers great breakfast options for all tastes, as well as a modern all-day food & snacks menu, made from locally and sustainably sourced ingredients. Our free and super-fast Wi-Fi throughout the whole building makes the lobby the perfect place to eat, drink, work and/or socialise. A private secure gated car park with electric car charging points, recycled bikes for our guests to borrow (to enjoy the full East London experience!), luggage storage, a 24-hour front desk and express check-in/out. By focussing on delivering exceptionally well on the essentials, plus a whole load of cool extras and none of the stuffy frills typical of the previous generation hotels, at The Corner London City we pride ourselves in offering an incredibly personal experience to our guests and great value for money. Come sleep with us!

If you want interesting and querky this is for you. If you want a comfortable room perhaps it isn't. Our room was clean but very sparsely furnished with a pod type bathroom and no window. The two chairs were most uncomfortable and we had a strange woman staring from the wall above our pillows all night. The picture shows this - she filled the whole wall. We stayed on the third floor which was quiet but the coffee machine didn't work on the landing - for 24hrs it was lit up saying it needed cleaning. Great location for getting in and around the city. Good breakfast.

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my partner’s 60th birthday and couldn’t have been more pleased with my choice. The rooms were brilliantly designed ( we loved the dog wallpaper), the bar staff and house manager couldn’t have been more friendly and solicitous plus the fact that it was both reasonably priced and eco friendly was icing on the 60th birthday cake. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed here for a couple of days on a business trip. I needed assistance with something and a member of staff, I believe her name was Jordanna, was absolutely amazing. Super helpful and went above and beyond to help me with what I required. Will definitely be coming back here again!

The hôtel is very well located! The staff is very warm, welcoming and helpfully! At the slightest concern, they are present and very attentive! The cleanliness is perfect! Again bravo to the team! NB: the hotel does not accept cash…payment only by cash… it should just inform the customers to avoid disappointments and annoyances…!

Overall so good for last minute booking after London train strike. Not far from public transport with storage at the lobby area so you'r qble to drop your luggage here. Room is very nice and clean, we've booked for cozy room(roomtype), The room was bigger than what we expected.

Located very close to Brick Lane (wonderful restaurants), Spitalfields Market, Liverpool St. Station, East Aldgate Tube station. This area is really exciting to stay in and The Corner Hotel reflects this atmosphere. Rooms are 'unusual' in their decor and facilities - rather quirky - but certainly a change from the usual 3star chain hotels you'll find in Europe. Bathroom was one of these self-contained'pods'- starting to look a bit rundown - bit of rust around shower heads, evidence of gaps in corners etc. However, nothing to worry about. Didn't try breakfast - many options available close by. Nice touch to be given a 'free drink' voucher at the bar if staying for longer than one night and not wanting room cleaned. For London, the price was very reasonable. Certainly recommend this hotel.

Just across from Aldgate East underground station, The Corner is a new, vibrant 3* hotel and bar/restaurant. The position is great for city travellers, 3 min walk from the Hammersmith & City or District tube lines, 7 mins from the Circle line and 15 mins from Tower Bridge / Tower of London. It might not be in the tourist havens of central London, for the famous streets of Soho or Oxford Street, but everything is only a few stops away on the tube, or a healthy walk away. It's also, in my opinion, a much cooler part of the city that, for the uninitiated, could really show how good London really is. Let's not pretend it's a pretty part of town, though, it isn't... But it's busy location does mean it has a great selection of local eateries for a good breakfast or late night slop. Brick Lane is just 5 mins away, complete with 24hr Beigel shops and a plethora of multi cultural cuisines. A real hot-bed for foodies (further north, Spitalfields and Farringdon takes this to another level). The hotel itself is clean and tidy, well presented with vibrant colours and "cool" decor. It's a relatively new opening and some of the staff still seemed a little green, but on the whole, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Checking in, you have the option of self check-in at a computer or speaking to someone at the bar (which is a great space for a quiet beer, something to eat or a even business meeting btw... The WiFi actually works! Which is a common annoyance in hotel stays). The rooms continue the vibrant aesthetics, with yellows and unusual lighting making everything seem airy and relaxing. The window spanned the entire length of the room (but as I said, not the prettiest part of town for views) and the curtains did a good job of blocking out the sunshine when needed. The bed was comfy, the shower was good... It really is a pleasant place to stay at a good price, in a great location. I didn't have the breakfast, personally, but it looked like a good selection and the restaurant was busy and noisy (in a good way), which was a good sign. My only criticisms are, with only 2 plug sockets, I did find myself running out of options sometimes. There ARE usb points for phones and whatnot, but they're not always best for a tech rich stay. Also, there are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms and whilst those things are available in the bar area (for free... I think...), it felt like a bit of an unnecessary journey, downstairs then back upstairs etc... But irrespective, for me, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Quick tip for travelers: Pre-book the viewing platform at the "Sky Garden" for fantastic views across the city, from the 43rd floor of the "Walkie-talkie" building. Just a 10 min walk away from the hotel. Failing that, a smaller version (and slightly closer) you can just turn up to is at "The Garden at 120" on Fenchurch Street. It's a lovely stop off point, worth 20 mins of your time.

The code pink has blown my mind. The balance between between fruity notes and alcohol goodness is burnt into memories and I will never forget it, I could not recommend it enough. The generosity of the staff is the best
