My husband and I stayed at the Belgrove for two nights. the hotel is small and dated but that is reflected in the rate charged, expensive for other cities but reasonable for London. The room had a view of another building that looked like squatters might have made a home there or it was the scene of an Alfred Hitchcock movie...not...

The best thing about this hotel is the excellent location. To be honest for the price we paid, 250 pounds for a quadruple room for 2 nights, plus a cooked breakfast it was, I suppose, value for money. The room itself was very small and the en-suite was tiny but served its purpose. There wasn't a great deal of room...

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's in a great spot but that's where it ends. We checked into this hotel and was mortified when we saw the size of the bed in our room. It was described as a double bed but it was more like a large single. We are not small people ( clothes...

A very basic, old style hotel (think 70s); I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom (and a sink in bedroom). I was only staying for one night for work, so it was decent enough - extremely convenient for Kings Cross, with late check-in possible. I didn't stay for breakfast though, so couldn't comment on that.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Had an excellent, spotlessly clean room with small entrance lobby and wet room. The beds were comfortable and there was ample tea and coffee left each day on the hospitality tray. The buffet breakfast was excellent and I think it would be impossible to get that sort of meal anywhere in London for the price...

For a budget hotel for one or two nights it's OK just ok. The rooms are very small hot and stuffy . On the plus side there is a buffet style cooked breakfast which is actually good . You get what you pay for compared to a similar hotel in Blackpool it's the business. I personally would not like to...

Arrived there for a night before myself and my family went away to Disney Paris, I arrived and went to reception to check in showing my booking.com reservation of 2 adults 2 children for one night, the miserable woman behind the counter then starting telling me that the room I booked was only for 2 adults and my children were...

Stayed over New Year, basic but very clean, comfortable and good breakfast! Absolutely brilliant location and will definitely be using this place again for my London visits as it was really good value!

Great value, great location, rooms ok nothing special but for £59 👍 Same as breakfast. If you just need a roof over your head while you explore London this is great. I messed up my booking and should really have paid a cancellation fee but they waived it

A lot of money for the service offered (keep in mind that's really cheap!). Great location in front of King's Cross station, this hotel it's a nightmare: no elevator to reach the 4th flooor, narrow stairs and a 'box' called room, bathroom big enough for a baby. All in need of immediate and heavy refurbishment.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
