As I was busy and out most of my days in London, I was looking for simple but clean room with a single bed and bathroom for an affordable price. The Troy Hotel was perfect at £50 for the night. The bathroom was also a bit updated, which was nice. I liked that breakfast was included although I left too...

Clean and tidy; spacious and well-equipped bedrooms (except maybe for a just little bit narrow shower); good continental breakfast; extremely good price/quality ratio; a stone's throw from Hyde Park, Queensway, Notting Hill Gate, Paddington and well served by tube lines and buses; polite, discreet and professional staff. Don't miss it.

Cozy, basic and quiet. Great location for 24 hours in London. Lovely lobby & staff. Would recommend and stay again. Nothing close by for great food that we could find. Stay closer to downtown for better dinner.

This hotel is a bit dated, but provides everything you need. I stayed here in a twin room with a friend and our room was a fair size, as was the bathroom, and the beds were comfortable. There was tea and coffee in the room and there were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. I have stayed in much smaller rooms...

Well located for Hyde Park and Albert Hall. but pretty basic. It was a reasonable price and I guess you get what you pay for but don't expect an fancy extras. The room we had was small with little room to walk around the bed, TV had an intermittent signal and dodgy sound. the bathroom was equally small and the...

This Hotel appears to be for profit only. No interest in the clients stay. Staff miserable, dated rooms, beds knackered & uncomfortable. Breakfast very basic with no variety. Only upside was its central & near tube station!!

We arrived about 11.30, to be told by the rather miserable manager that we couldn't check in till 2oclock, and that we could leave our luggage in a cupboard under the stairs,he actually couldn't care less, because he was chatting with his mate.we made our escape and had a mooch round then came back about 3.30 to be greeted by...

Good location, near to Bayswater metro station. When we checked in, we were greeted by a cheery receptionist. But the rooms are small, old and tired looking. Could do with some updating of furniture and linen. How about better housekeeping - just fancy checking into your room and finding an unfinished bottle of Horlicks and some croissants left behind by...

This review is written on behalf of my father in law. He and his wife stayed in Troy Hotel last September 2016, with the intention to enjoy and visit London. Please note they are not able to fluently communicate in English, but they are used to travel in Europe and have already visited several cities like Paris, Rome, Prague, Brussels,...

You do not get much for £58, especially for a room in central London, but this was a en suit, and not the usual bathroom the size of a wardrobe, but a really good size for single room, and really top class shower and surrounds. Room itself for spotless, and again big for the usual single room, even had a...
