Always stay here when in London. Rooms are large and well equipped as are bathrooms. All the advantages of a boutique hotel at chain prices. Very central,4 minute from Russell Square tube,Brunswick Centre 3 minutes away and British Museum around 5 minutes walk.

I had low expectations: I booked this hotel without knowing much about it, and the area it's in (Russell Square) is a dead-zone in terms of terrible tourist trap hotels. Thankfully the Morton is nothing like them. In fact it's a delight. The room I had was big by central London standards, with a high ceiling and large windows, along... More

Staying in this hotel made me feel smarter! It was warm, comfortable, sumptuous. The room was spacious and well laid out. The doors need to close more quietly as ours banged no matter how gently we tried to shut it. I will definitely itely return here, right around the corner from regents park tube or ten minutes walk to Euston.... More

Just got back from a weekend break. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Every member of staff from reception to the chamber maids were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel was situation in a quiet area but still very central and in easy reach of all of the sights.

Stayed for 2 nights in August in 2 bedroomed suite. Cannot fault anything, 5 star service, rooms & location. We have stayed in several 5 star hotels in London and this is the most comfortable hotel we have ever stayed in. We have booked for 5 nights in December over the Christmas period as we enjoyed the hotel and cannot... More

What a lovely find Stayed at the Morton for 1 night and we really loved it. We have stayed at the Montague a couple of times which is quite close but we wanted somewhere a bit more baby friendly. Must say we love the Montague too! In the Morton we booked a room with a small kitchenette and sitting room... More

This hotel is located in a nice area - central, safe, and quieter than other places. The hotel staff were extremely kind. Though there was one time when a female staff told us to "calm down" even though we were just trying to explain our situation (she didn't speak good English I thought), but overall, the other staff were extremely... After a disappointing stay in a "luxury" hotel the day before, The Morton was a most welcome change. Its proximity to Russell Square station made for quick and efficient transportation connections. Check-in was easy and I was made to feel welcome from the start. The Omega Suite was incredibly spacious. Everything was well-appointed, nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Despite a... More

I spent a night in this hotel and my expectations were exceeded. Granted, the entrance is understated, but check-in was fast and the man checking me in (he was Spanish, I don't recall his name) very friendly and gave a really good welcome, which helped put me at ease at the hotel. The room I was assigned was impressive -... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
