I stayed at the Rosebery for 2.5 months. It was initially supposed to be for a month and a half, but I had an unexpected job-related circumstance and got an extension of an additional month. The convenient location, the secure building, the contemporary room, the equipped kitchenette, etc. were all fine, just as described on their website, and actually better. What I didn’t quite know until I stayed there was that the front desk crew were always very professional, considerate, and helpful. I think I met everyone on the front desk team over the 2.5 months of my stay. The staff I probably had most interaction with was Maria, and she certainly always helped me out very kindly and sincerely. The all-round maintenance staff and housekeeping crew were also very attentive and helpful. I very much appreciated everyone’s help. Over time the place felt more and more like a home away from home.…
A great hotel in a great location. Perfect for me and my family to stay in this facility before my wedding. The rooms are clean, spacious and with lots of natural lighting. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful Next time I am in London I will definitely be staying here again
Have to say I had a horrible stay!! I sprained my wrist slipping on your bathroom tiles. I stepped out of the shower onto the bathroom mat and and was walking to the bedroom when I slipped on the tile fell and sprained my wrist. The tiles are like glass they are so slippy and extremely dangerous. I nearly knocked myself but but instead sprained my wrist. I am only 30 so how someone who's older than me would have coped I don't know. Your reception also had an inadequate first aid kit, no ice pack which I pretty sure fails you as a premise on your health and safety. To top it off I was kept up until 01:30am by one of the rooms having a large and loud party. Only when I complained to the concierge did he ask them to be quiet and even then no one left from the party and they were left to stay in the room. Your rules clearly state ' Any unregistered guests should vacate the apartment by 11:00pm and only the number of booked guests will be able to remain in the apartment after this time. Should we find that there are unregistered guests in the apartment after 11:00pm we may ask you to leave the apartment immediately.' You did not follow through on this action there were several people (maybe 5) in one room and no one was asked to leave so I got hardly any sleep…
Rosebery For the reference - we stayed for 53 days. Pros: - nice staff - good location - has gym - clean Cons: - WiFi is incredibly terrible. Slow, unstable, sometimes unavailable. Not secure. Impossible to set up Amazon Echo Dot (or any other screen-less WiFi device) without faking its MAC via some other device or calling IT. A friend who was also staying there claims it didn’t work for a whole day. For me it didn’t work for hours. - Trash bin in the kitchen is impossible to use. We moved one from the bathroom (which is tiny as well) to the kitchen - Fridge can easily be left open if doors are not pressed hard (they are installed in the cupboard). This happens in all rooms I hear - There is NO LIGHT SWITCH when you enter the apartment. Our control panel was more than halfway in the apartment. Not really fun to turn on the light on your phone every time you come in the evening to go turn on the light switch - Our room which was supposed to have a separate bedroom actually has a sliding glass door between living room and the bedroom. This makes several problems: - there is no sound isolation - my partner and I could not work at the same time without both of using headphones non-stop. Especially tricky for the confidential work video calls. Super tricky when one wanted to sleep and other one wanted to work. See next point for more nonsense in that line. - The light switch TURNS ALL LIGHTS ON OR OFF. That means, literally, if one wants to sleep, the whole apartment has to be dark. One switch for the whole apartment. - Access to bathroom is through the bedroom. That makes even less sense if one wants to sleep and other one wants to work (or do anything else besides sleeping) - The sliding doors are VERY HEAVY and noisy, and also they fall out of their sliding patent, so I had to fix them three times. My girlfriend could not do that, and if I was not home, she would be stuck. - Bathroom has a shower, not a bathtub like most rooms in the complex have. Also, the shower head is installed at the wall, on about 2.5m height and can not be lowered. My girlfriend cannot reach it. Also, for that reason you can not: - turn on the shower without getting wet (for the warm water to arrive, for example) - take a shower without having your hair wet unless you use shower cap - washing your privates is an acrobatic exercise - The switch to turn on/off heating in the bathroom is above the door, making it impossible to reach for short people unless they stand on the chair. And it’s tiny, hidden. No idea why it was made like that. - Kitchen is useless for cooking. The electric rings are small and it’s impossible to fit two pots at the same time. There is no wooden spoon provided. We gave up cooking on day three. Provided toaster worked well. - It’s noisy and loud. We were on the top floor. Non-stop ambulances and police cars with sirens go through the Rosebery Avenue, several times a day. - It’s too warm to sleep, so you have to open the window. Then you have a problem from the previous bullet - it’s super noisy. Also, the duvet is way too thick (and is shared), but that might be a personal preference. - Windows can not be fully opened, just the kip, making air flow and draft impossible to achieve. - Alarms. There is a weekly alarm testing on Wednesday which is super loud and annoying. But besides that, smoke alarms randomly go off whenever someone fries an egg or burns a toast in the toaster, that happens multiple times a week.…
Thank you Kevin for helping me out during my stay - great customer service which made all the difference. Would stay again on that basis. Room was okay although air con wasn't really working too well.
Really good place for long stay, I stayed there for 3 month when I moved to London. During pandemic time, this place was clean and following high level of hygiene. Bed was comfy, water pressure and AC worked just well. WIFI was okay, could have been better I didn't need to login every-time I use my laptop or iPad. Never really used the speaker or TV as they were out of date and not compatible with devices nowadays. Didn't get a chance to use the gym as it was closed during COVID time. Location is perfect, I used to walk to work in Angel square and to the city during the weekend.
I have been staying at the Rosebery for the past 2 months. The hotel is super clean and bright-the team of cleaners are so professional. The front desk crew are always pleasant and helpful. If anything goes wrong the maintenance is done immediately! Lovely rooms with lots of light. An excellent experience.

Rooms are spacious, bright, modern well maintained, extremely clean and inviting. Bed linen is superb and beds are comfy. Shower is great and toiletries provided. Kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher washing machine, hob, toaster, kettle microwave, oven, fridge milk tea coffee etc provided. Exmouth market is a minute walk away with restaurants and shops. Receptionist very warm friendly and welcoming
Thank you for an awesome time Supercity and staff. Professional and friendly staff! Great location, clean and generally comfortable. COVID protocols followed without feeling cumbersome. Definitely coming back!!!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Q Square. We stayed in one of the studio penthouses and it was even better than we expected. The sea views from the terrace were gorgeous, especially at sunset. The apartment was perfect, so modern and clean. We had no problems whatsoever and the staff were so accommodating. Excellent value and would love to come again!
