#73 of 1,200 hotels in London
Travelers' Choice
Set across five handsome Victorian townhouses, The Laslett is more home than hotel, with rooms that look and feel as though they could be straight out of a stylish friend's townhouse. The Laslett is less than a minute from Notting Hill Gate underground station and perfectly placed to tap into the local scene. The dynamic ground floor at The Laslett is more neighbourhood hangout than hotel lobby - incorporating a curated British library, walls of art, the Henderson bar and coffee shop serving a menu that evolves throughout the day, and a 'shop' showcasing our collaborations with designers and artists. Each of 51 guest rooms and suites feature curated artwork and classic books, along with our much coveted 'Big Bar' filled with craft beers and locally sourced treats. Rain showers and full-sized REN bathroom products complete the bathrooms, whilst the bedrooms balance comfort and style, with luxury linens and blankets alongside desks and USB charging points. Modern British furniture sits alongside vintage collectables, handpicked from auctions and the antique dealers of Portobello, whilst bespoke lighting, specially-commissioned design pieces and eclectic curiosities complete the unique and comfortable atmosphere.

Loved everything about this hotel, from the fabulous and thoughtfully furnished rooms to the location to the excellent staff/service. Great food and drinks in the hotel bar/restaurant (which can be delivered to the room). Love the quiet Notting Hill location (very conveniently right by a Central Line tube stop). As far as I'm concerned, all hotels in the future will have to live up to the Laslett model.

A wonderful boutique hotel in a lovely area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but convenient to transport and wonderful local restaurants and bars. Perfect in every way, and if you judge hotels by their eggs benedict then look no further, sensational!

Beautiful rooms, stunning interior design and great playlist in lobby. Make sure to chat with and get a bev with Kas in the lobby bar. He’s the best! So helpful and genuinely caring as he helped our friend find her lost luggage.

We stayed in room 28 at the Laslett for 4 nights last week. Perfect stay! If you're in a rush... scroll down to #6. 1. Service: The entire staff is incredibly friendly, accommodating, treat you like they are very happy you are staying at their hotel, front desk, bar tenders, everyone was terrific. I am embarrassed that I don't remember names but everyone was amazing. 2. Location: About 5 buildings away from the tube. Very convenient. Walkable to Hyde Park and of course many bars and restaurants within Notting Hill. 3. Cleanliness: Our room was spotless each of the 4 nights we stayed. Enough said. 4. Beds were very comfortable and large enough for two people. 5. The public space, lobby, etc were cozy with plenty of interesting books and art to keep you entertained while you are enjoying either your morning coffee or your end of the day glass of Champagne. 6. Extras (Attention to Detail): - Several outlets!!! Next to mirrors which makes it much easier for two people to get ready quickly. Next to the bed so I didn't have to move furniture just to plug my phone in. - 4 mirrors!!! The mirror in the bathroom is special coating so that it does not steam up! Again, easy to navigate two people when we had a busy schedule. - Rooms are very bright either naturally because the windows are so large or because of the lighting that you can dim or brighten. - Hair dryer! Double thumbs up. Sorry folks but this one is a big one as the UK v.s. US voltage differential always fries my good hair dryer. I was able to use the Laslett's and still get my hair dry very quickly. - Privacy - There are curtains and blinds so you can decide how much privacy you would like. Overall, terrific and such an easy stay! We will absolutely stay again.
