Stayed for two nights. Paid for parking, but there is a train station nearby. The entrance is impressive with red carpet and a wide staircase leading up from the lobby. Our room on the first floor was fine, although the water pressure in the shower was a little low. What we really missed was a fridge in the room. The hotel bar is very comfortable and breakfast is served on the basement level and is self-service. Porridge was good.
This is our second Doubletree stay after returning from Liverpool. The Liverpool Doubletree definitely did not reach the excellent standard displayed by this hotel. Same stars, same overnight price, but Doubletree Greenwich exceeded my expectations. Good central location, near numerous bus routes on the A2 and near Deptford Bridge and Greenwich Stations. This hotel carries a elegant, spiritual theme, converted from an old police station. Awesome, clean decor, but limited chargeable expensive parking. Make sure you pre-book parking here if you need it as spaces go quick. There is very restricted on street parking for 4 hours only. This hotel can get busy, being so close to many Greenwich sights, but does not feel busy with good use of space and ultra attentive staff. Friendly, helpful and quick check in with the obligatory warm Doubletree cookie. Room well laid out, clean and functional. Partial view from the third floor. Unlike the Liverpool equivalent, some free water and a king size bed here. Bathroom immaculate, walk in shower pleasant. Room service, quick and not too expensive. Breakfast was a la carte for COVID times, freshly cooked when ordered and you can order as much as you need. Andreea, the breakfast room host runs a tight ship and ensures everyone is COVID secure and has everything they need. Plenty of room and hot food, even towards the end of breakfast service. Check out was very friendly, quick and invoice provided by E-Mail. Excellent service and good value for money.…
We had a nice experience with all of the staff, very friendly and accomodating. The rooms were more than we expected and appreciated the modern feel and how clean it was. The location was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a tesco, local eateries, and also Greenwich market and Goldsmith University. We were able to pickup an Amazon UK package at a convenience store "locker" close by that was next to this wonderful coffee shop/eatery called Royal Hill Cafe. Overall a great stay!
Its a nice quality hotel rooms are of a good standard with a/c evening meal ok, but the breakfast is in heated rays except they are not heated so cold bacon, sausage and worse scrambled egg, i have visited this hotel a few times, they just dont seem to want to sort it
Twin room allocated was next to delivery bays(so noise from 6am) and with only a small window reached only by standing on a chair. Queen room allocated instead of the King prepaid for - error by check in staff only corrected when we queried the tiny size of the room and bed. Note, some rooms are on floor -1, that is, below ground. Quite a walk from the station and visitor attractions of Greenwich - something to consider if travelling with children. Hotel decor is strangely tacky. Did not feel valued and a Hilton Honors member
Fantastic customer service, breakfast was perfect and the rooms were the right size, have all necessary amenities and were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Car parking electric facilities were fine, just tricky to set up the app, but once sorted, worked really well.
We spent 3 enjoyable nights here and highly recommend this hotel. All the staff on reception, in the restaurant and bar, at breakfast and housekeeping were superb.Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are well appointed, air conditioning is excellent, although because of the style of building it is challenging to open the window and there is no view..There are coffee/ tea making facilities but no fridge.Ice is available on 2 floors and the bar.We were disappointed that except for breakfast the restaurant was not open for lunch and dinner.Food of a very high standard was provided in the bar area but the table height was not ideal.Hopefully this issue will be resolved shortly. A particular member of staff deserves a special mention.Ricardo who greeted us upon arrival with warm chocolate chip cookies and arranged cup cakes for my husbands birthday is an excellent ambassador for this hotel.…
Stayed at the Hilton Greenwich London while on a trip to see ABBA The Voyage which was amazing. The hotel was in a good location easy access to main attractions on/off tube. We stayed in room 27 Executive Suite and was lovely with a four poster bed and free standing bath in the room, the staff went over and beyond especially Jeremy on reception who also gave us a complimentary cookie. The bar area was great for relaxing and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. This hotel is a must well worth 5 *.
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay! We were running away from the heatwave for one-night stay and we never expected how fantastic our stay was meant to be! We were checked in by Rachael, who gave us complimentary drinks and the amazing hot chocolate cookie! The room facilities and AC in the room were fantastic! Just what we needed! We had dinner in the lounge and were served by Henry, Fernandez and Ann, who were super helpful and knowledgeable! Compliments to the chef as the rib eye was perfectly cooked! Breakfast next day was fantastic too! Thanks for all the team for this amazing stay!
I have stayed at this hotel several times for various business and personal trips, and by far this is the BEST hotel in Greenwich. Professional team, excellent staff, stylish rooms, great service and customers at the heart of the whole experience from the beginning to end. If you are looking for class, style and comfort, this is your place to stay.
