Dorset Square Hotel is a beautiful Regency townhouse with 38 individually designed bedrooms many of which look onto the leafy private garden square which was originally the site of Thomas Lord's first cricket ground. An interesting collection of cricket memorabilia can be seen displayed throughout the hotel. There is a sumptuous ground floor guest drawing room with a fireplace and The Potting Shed bar & restaurant which is open all day long. The hotel's interior has been designed by owner and design director Kit Kemp in her fresh modern English style.

Firstly I got upgraded to a luxury King room and breakfast was included in the price. It’s not cheap but when I stay at a Firmdale property I always leave feeling like a million dollars. I could have paid £100 less and left feeling meh. The room was perhaps not very big for a luxury king room but was very nice with the usual Kit Kemp signature touches. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. And breakfast was a joy, one of the best I’ve had in ages!

This is a superb place. Beautiful modern sparkling interiors, spotless, amazing service, wonderful bedding and bathrooms, lovely view and great location. 3-4 mins walk from Marylebone station and less than 5 mins from Baker Street. Even though the rooms are small, so they are so thoughtfully organized and curated that you don’t even notice it, especially with the gorgeous large French windows. This is a gem.

This was my first visit since the refurb, having been a frequent guest in the distant past. The design combines the best of the old set up with great contemporary styling. Everything is of high quality. The standard of housekeeping and service was exceptional, amongst the best I've experienced for a long time. The room was small but perfectly fitted out!

Yes, this hotel is immaculate and very well presented, but our room really was tiny and felt expensive for what you get. No real bar area to speak of so you feel compelled to go out. Beautiful furnishings, amazing service with birthday treat etc. Lovely position off Dorset Square. A few steps from the station. Classy and bijoux. Ideal for a one night treat.

This is a lovely hotel!! Very well located, the rooms are small but with great beds and bed linens! I miss not having something to make tea or coffee in the room, but other than that I love the rooms. Restaurant, breakfast very, very expensive for an orange juice, cup of tea and toast, $20. Not great breakfast and overpriced.
