Dorset Square Hotel is a beautiful Regency townhouse with 38 individually designed bedrooms many of which look onto the leafy private garden square which was originally the site of Thomas Lord's first cricket ground. An interesting collection of cricket memorabilia can be seen displayed throughout the hotel. There is a sumptuous ground floor guest drawing room with a fireplace and The Potting Shed bar & restaurant which is open all day long. The hotel's interior has been designed by owner and design director Kit Kemp in her fresh modern English style.

Neighborhood
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.

Ended up here by accident, what a pleasure. A lovely place, super staff and a small but thoughtfully operated restaurant and bar. Great attention to detail - a real find. A quiet but convenient location 5 min walk to Baker St tube.

I like this hotel very much. Small boutique with lovely service. Great location. I would just highlight that "superior" rooms are quite small even by London standards. My room would not have easily accommodated 2 people with luggage. It barely even could fit my small rollaboard

I stayed here for a work trip to London in March and it was a nice retreat. Very nice rooms, breakfast included, and two blocks from the Marylebone tube station. It would have been a perfect place to bring my wife, so I might need a return trip.

My husband and I stayed for two nights in December for our wedding at the Old Marylebone Town Hall around the corner. We had originally booked a room at a grand landmark London hotel, but stumbled across the Dorset Square Hotel and changed our plans. We were so pleased that we
