Had to stay in London for an early start, this place is tucked away from the hussle and bussle. It was very clean and the rooms were well appointed. Only slight downside is the pub is pretty noisy at night and can be heard from the room and my tap was leaky which was slightly annoying when trying to sleep.... More

Don't waste your money on the food here, we went with 3 friends for dinner and it was very disappointing. We found 'dog' hairs on the cutlery and the food arrived tasted as though it had been put through the microwave and didn't taste freshly cooked, The cost of the food was a rip off for such poor quality produce.... Went back to the UK with my daughter for a few days relaxation. We chose the New Inn as we lived in the area previously. In short, the place was very nice. Rooms were comfortable and the atmosphere was that of a real Pub, which in SJW is in short supply. Easy to get around whether taking the bus or... More

This is a warm friendly place to stay a few minutes from Regents Park and the Regent Canal. Our room was large and well decorated, had tv and coffee making facilities. We stayed there last week and liked it so much we went back this week. The New Inn calls itself a boutique hotel and a gastropub, but I think... More

Was looking online for accommodation which was described as being handy for the Roundhouse in Camden, as I'm not familiar with the area, & this hotel was recommended! It's a 50 minute walk! The room was very clean, if a little basic. The bed was comfortable & the water pressure in the shower excellent! Didn't get to check out the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the New Inn. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My husband contacted them before we visited to see if they would be able to provide a vegetarian breakfast (which they did and it was lovely, but it was so big I couldn't eat it all!). The room was clean and comfortable with... More

Visiting London with friends in 'summer'. Had a lovely time and then came across this pub. As soon as we saw the dogs we wanted to leave but thought we'd ask if we could sit and eat where dogs weren't allowed. Young staff member told us no as they are dog friendly (!) I like dogs but not around me... More

A rather silly review considering there are signs everywhere about the dogs, dog bowls, a huge dog bed and the reviewer even had a dog welcome. A dog friendly pub if you read all the other reviews. Makes sense being on the corner of 2 dog friendly parks. Thanks for the score though! More

I have stayed here on a number of occasions in most of thier rooms and I have not yet been dissappointed. Each room is individually decorated and is very comfortable. The showers are good. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the food downstairs is excellent. Only complaint: I would prefer curtains to blinds!

The New Inn touts itself as a gastro-pub presumably so it can justify its high prices. However, if you are going to call yourself a gastro-pub and charge high prices, your customers are going to expect something fairly special. This means good ingredients, hot, freshly prepared food, and a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, the New Inn does not deliver on... More
