Although "The Belgrave" sounds rather smart, this is actually one of many hotels near Victoria located in old buildings. I haven't visited any others, but this is very welcoming with very helpful and friendly staff, Nespresso coffee machines in the rooms and lovely breakfasts (except for no fresh fruit). We paid extra to have an "extra-large" bed (actually the size we have at home, 6ft wide), but I feel that the value for money was not brilliant; given the lack of people around I would have expected a better price. Lastly, the toilet was very low (almost like in a primary school) which was not comfortable. No idea why...

Stayed with my husband and 2 year old son last weekend. Lovely hotel a 20 minute walk to the river where we took a boat to see London. What a great time to sightsee with a child, London is empty. The hotel was clean and covid secure. I saw staff cleaning handles and buttons after we left. Screens at reception, sanitiser and one way systems. I felt safe to have my family there. I will visit again.

With holidays being cancelled this year and UK beaches being overrun, we thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of the “quiet time” and visit London for a few nights. We found The Belgrave in Pimlico and after reading the reviews and their COVID policies, decided to take a chance and were suitably impressed! I judge a hotel on it’s bathrooms (if the bathrooms are grubby or tired I walk around the room with my socks on!) but their bathrooms are second to none! The hotel is beautiful, the staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They also have a lot of COVID measures in place which is very reassuring. Spacing between furniture in communal areas, one way systems in stairways and the lift, signs advising of directions, sanitiser at the front desk, it really does make you feel safe. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed from the 9th-12th March just before the lockdown, we chose the hotel based on the arranged visit we had arranged and the other comments made. The room we stayed in was excellent and very clean, we decided just to have the continental breakfast and the choice was first class and if you are a good eater there's more than enough, the staff in the restaurant were fantastic and very helpful. Only downside there was work being carried out but this will now be complete
