I stayed here with my wife for just the one night. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but it was an extremely small room. It was very hot and although there was air con it didn't do a lot and was extremely noisy, add that to the sound of the fridge which made it sound like sleeping in... More

Very clean hotel , you can't fault this hotel other than no breakfast or food available in hotel. Although there is plenty of places to eat around hotel. All I can say is , next time we come to London I'm staying here ,that speaks volumes.

Nice rooms given its location in a very busy area. Rooms are well equipped with good internet connection. Reception staff is extremely cordial and helpful. Hotel is located in a good place with good convenient connections for trains.

I booked the London Kings Hotel based on my internet search, without much knowledge of the various areas in London, as it was my first time visiting the UK. I really had no idea what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was small but spotlessly clean, and the location was... More

Decent hotel - room was extremely small, but comfortable enough. Has a Costa Coffee in foyer - but badly needs a bar, so you can have a late night drink if you are a weary traveller. Also no restaurant - but plenty places round and about I guess. Good location, close to tubes etc Good for a business stay -... More

Nice hotel that has a Costa Coffee joint on the ground floor. Staff are very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile, they really made me feel at home. The double room is adequate if you are not expecting much. The walls are so thin, you can hear all the doors slamming in the next rooms. Hotel is... More

I was staying for 3 nights on the 1st floor right above the Costa Coffee. Basically this was not a good idea as the cafe closes at midnight and the cleaning staff make a real racket for a further 45 minutes after that. They were loudly dragging tables and chairs about each night so it was impossible to sleep until... More

Stayed at this hotel overnight whilst we visited various places in London. The Hotel is newly decorated and is very good standard. The staff are very helpful & polite. The hotel is linked with a costa coffee, so handy for a light breakfast if your not wanting a full english, the croissants & coffee was enough for us. Location of... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
