Pretty much as the title says really. Super easy to check-in. Rooms are basic but clean and have a maid service every day. The beds are firm but comfortable and we managed 2 perfect nights sleep in the small double bed. The cooked breakfast (with tinned plumb tomatoes👍) a 5 minute walk away in the expansive refectory set us up... More

We stayed in a double room with ensuite bathroom. They provide comfortable bed, coffee/tea with electric kettle, towels, soap, shampoo, linens, fan, windows that open, Wifi. Our room overlooked a grassy park. Huge full breakfast in the nearby dining hall. No TV, air conditioning or iron, but who cares? Steps away from the South Kensington underground station, the Brompton Oratory,... More

My friend and I, both female seniors, stayed at the South Kensington Princes Gate campus -each in a single en suite room on the ground floor/basement area. The rooms were clean, bright, cool with the fan on (it was the Tuesday of the heat wave and 90f +) and bed comfortable. I had a view of gorgeous mews houses across... More

The halls are situated opposite Imperial College at Exhibition road, excellent position for visiting London. Also the price is quite low. However, the rooms are very very small, they are very basic, there is no common room to sit (only a kitchen) and the students in the reception are not that friendly. If you can afford to go elsewhere, do... More

We ended up staying here our first night in London mainly because it was what was available at the time for a reasonable price. However, in this instance we got what we paid for. The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. However, it was very spartan, consisting of little more than a full sized bed sort of... More

There are lots of good things about this place. The location is very good. Be aware it is quite a walk from the tube station, though, it can be done along a tunnel which has an entrance/exit close to the Princes Gardens. Check in was fast and friendly (aroun 7.30pm). The room is simple but with all I needed for... More

The accomodation is very simple, no television, no hairdrier but very organized, clean, efficient and right in the middle of the museum area. It is also possible to print your boarding pass at the reception ( there's a shared pc and printer) Definitely to recommend.

Stayed here on business (at Imperial College) for four nights. Exactly as one would expect from university halls being let out during the summer vacation: clean, compact, no frills. Tea & Coffee facilities in room. No TV, of course, but good WiFi. Breakfast buffet standard selection - v busy. For Central London (stone's throw from the Albert Hall), the price... More

Was pleasantly surprised fantastic location excellent room, friendly staff lovely quiet location and central location to all attractions. The rooms are slightly small but when in London how long are you going to be spending in the room 5 minutes from Hyde Park you will not find better priced accommodation in Kensington.

Student rooms, being let as B&B. Breakfast in the college is crowded and noisy, buffet would profit from some variations. Well situated in the heart of South Kensington, close to the museums and Hyde Park.

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
