- 6 nights, very clean, slightly small since they put a double bed in a single room - huge desk good for working, making tea and laying out our 5 items for charging - shower/toilet/washroom very clean, good design of space to put personal items, especially since i was travelling with my wife - needless to say convenient and good... What the blurb for this accommodation does not make clear is that you are actually staying in student halls, and not only that but that students may actually be staying there at the same time. No, you don't have a student actually sharing the room with you, but given the noise the average student makes (noisy conversations in corridor, slamming... More

Ideally located close to Hyde Park, museums and Piccadilly line (app. 40 minutes to Heathrow). Simple but neat room, all you need for one night in town. The full-fledged university gym was a big plus for me and it was nice that I could keep the room's towels after check-out so I could make use of it on the day... More

Great location and the price cannot be beat. Rooms and bath are very clean. Beds are a tight double bed. Wifi but otherwise limited amenities. Very nice shower. Includes breakfast which is dormitory style but filling and sets you up for the day. Great Kensington location, close to tube station. Absolutely CANNOT check in early but can leave luggage for... Very well located reasonably priced accommodation. Of course the rooms are small but being in heart of activity hub and so well connected to London proper makes up for any shortcomings. Loved being there.

We found hotel prices to be very high and prefer to skip hostels. Summer college accommodation is perfect as an in between option. We booked online for Prince's Gardens for en-suite rooms. I was watching prices for a few weeks and be aware that the prices can go up. Also in the check in area, there are walk up prices... More

Run by imperial college student, nice and modern design, wonderful cleanliness and very friendly staff to assist during check-in. Wonderful experience to stay in a campus a feels like a student! Highly recommend! By the way, please visit the nearby museums and Royal Albert Hall!

I stayed here for a week early Oct and with the world cup on everywhere charging a fortune, what a suprise how wonderful and clean this place is with amazing facilities, made me wish I was back at Uni. Breakfast fully cooked was included over in the halls and there is a small convenient shop in the grounds plus a... More

Having researched the hotels in the South Kensington area of London, it became apparent that locating somewhere cheap and cheerful was going to be difficult. That was until I came accross Princes Gardens . Student accomodation made available during the summer months. It was ideal for my visit to the Royal Albert Hall and literaly around the corner from the... More

Our experience was really great. The hotel staff helped us to take a taxi at 3:00AM, so we were really thankful for that. Our room was better than we expected. Great room service and the supermarket around the corner comes in handy in the mornings. Really good location to visit London for young couples. Quiet neighborhood.

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
