We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea in the Peridot at The Bentley Hotel. The 🥪 were delicious, as were the cakes. I'd forgotten that there were also scones with the obligatory cream and jam too! All washed down with champagne and bottomless cups of tea or coffees of your choice. Yes, there is a pong as you enter the reception of the hotel but you certainly don't notice it once in the other room. If it wasn't for that smell, I would say that that area would be a far better place to serve the afternoon tea. It's lighter, has a better atmosphere, you can people watch and those people outside would get the feeling that the hotel is busy. Anyway, we had a fab time and must thank Charmaine for her excellent service.

We had a hot stone massage at the Spa, followed by afternoon tea. The staff were friendly and happy to help! The massage was thorough and they offered us different levels of pressure, allowing us to choose separate treatment styles, which was great! The sauna is in the changing room, so you don’t feel rushed using it. They provided post- massage advice as well, the whole spa experience was incredible! Afternoon tea was great, we were well looked after. The only pointer here is someone I was with is allergic to dairy. They provided a lovely vegan afternoon tea for her, until the scones came out. We had to ask if the clotted cream was dairy-free as it looked just like the normal one. I’m glad we did ask, as it turned out not to be dairy-free. Apart from that slip up, the food was great (the cakes were incredible!!) and the sandwiches were unique flavours that I’m not used to seeing in afternoon tea, which was novel. If you’re looking for a special treat in central London, that’s not too busy with great service - this is the place!

Excellent top class service from the 2 masseuses' !! Might be the best massages we've ever had :) - Thank you !! Beautifully opulent settings too. Only critique is that customers using the Hammas (Turkish) bath should be warned (as part of the pre-entry chat given) about the steam holes coming from the floor as this did burn my toe. I did mention it and had to get ice for my toe but the lady said that it was in the document that we signed to (and it probably was) but some people don't read that long document, as we didn't so worth saying/reiterating that when giving the pre-entry chat prior to the customers going in. Apart from that, it really was a good experience overall and I would recommend it. Thank You :)

Nice Hotel but we had Lost and found complaint lodged with hotel over phone and later by email which was not attended by hotel staff. No one even bothered to respond on email. One of our group members forgot his gold chain which gifted by his mother who is no more now. This gold chain had immense sentimental value. The chain was placed in the night on bedside table. In the morning guest forgot to pick it and we checked out of hotel, later in the same evening , guest realised he forgot the chain on bedside table . In this whole event hotel did not respond to the complaint , matter of the fact is they were indifferent to the complaint , I was expecting hotel of this repute to take up our complaint on priority and resolve the issue as the gold chain cannot disappear in thin air .

I really enjoyed my time at the spa. I chose to have the Pamper Pick Me Up package as I was feeling very stressed and needed a good massage. I didn't get the masseuse's name but she really got out the knots! The only downside was that she was a little hard and it was slightly painful in the days afterwards. I would definitely go back though

Visited for afternoon tea, have to say very expensive and definitely not worth the £55 (plus 12.5% service charge). Sandwiches and cakes clearly not home made, room was freezing cold and a bad smell in the reception area. Not great atmosphere and not a great experience.

We were guests at Le Kalon Spa. The used the hammam and then had Swedish massages. Our therapists Comfort & Melissa were both exceptional: friendly, efficient and not brilliant masseuses. Showers need a bit of maintenance, otherwise it was a great experience and we will be back soon.

This was a treat from my daughter and we were very disappointed! As we walked in the smell of the bathroom filled the entrance hall , the staff were ok ! But the big disappointment was the afternoon tea under seasoned sandwiches! And they must of gone to Sainsbury’s to get cakes as they were very bad ! For £55 per person this is overpriced! Had better in slug and lettuce!

My daughter bought me a spa experience for my birthday. The treatment was lovely and relaxing but we didn’t realise that we would only have access to the sauna and not to the steam room (another part of the spa). We were the only customers in the Brasserie for lunch initially - the restaurant opened late and there were lots of different staff, all equally grumpy apart from one lovely waitress. I ordered a bottle of rose - when it came it was shown to me and then left on our table for me to open myself. Luckily it was a screw cap! It was also not fully chilled and there was no wine bucket or cooler offered. I didn’t make a fuss because it was a gift from my daughter and we just decided to laugh it off and the drink the wine anyway. But a restaurant in a 5 star hotel should certainly open the wine bottle for you!!!
