I booked this hotel in 2020 to attend the theatre, booked via Expedia. For obvious reasons had to reschedule to 2021 and then again to 2022. Could not get through to the hotel and nor could Expedia, did not reply to emails and eventually the 2021 date passed and could not get a date change or refund. Very poor customer experience, CX needs to include answering the phone or emails! On the plus side Expedia were very good.
Nice hotel in a comparatively quiet part of town. Well positioned, just ten minutes walk from Farringdon stations which provided great access to the city. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. I reported a couple of minor issues on departure which the receptionist said would be looked at. (They didn't spoil our stay.) The Maitre D "V" at breakfast was "V" and she was exceptional. Polite, efficient, friendly, observant and attentive without being over bearing. She had a great eye for details. Well done "V", thanks for your service.
I would give this 10 stars if I could not only for the lovely room but the two bartenders Chris and Jason really made my experience amazing they were so lovely and attentive and the drinks they made were 10/10 will definitely be returning! A real credit to the team!
Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, unfortunately i didn't get the name of the gentleman who checked me in but i did get the name of the breakfast staff - Jason. Jason was very friendly and even remembered guests names and greeted them each morning. Excellent service! Air conditioning in the room was also very appreciated. Overall a pleasant business stay
OMG …. Must have one of Abasse’s cocktails . Really chilled out evening . Thank you . We stayed at Malmaison which is a lovely hotel , especially for a romantic night , and to finish the evening in the bar made the evening .
We went for a few drinks at the bar and Abasse was incredible. Made us the most amazing espresso martini’s and was polite, funny and extremely friendly - it was the highlight of my birthday. We will definitely be coming back.
Another outstanding stay with a large group of family and friends for my husbands 50th birthday; fantastic communication and flexibility by Marie in the run up to the stay and nothing was too much trouble while we were there. Outstanding service by Marie and her team. Highly recommend. It’s our go to hotel in London. Thanks for everything, it was amazing, as always.
What a lovely stay we had here. Greeted by the wonderful Mario who was so friendly and helpful. Clean and beautiful hotel in a great location for our trip. Staff were so friendly. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast served by lovely Violetta. So polite and friendly. I will definitely be staying here next time I visit London Thankyou 🥰
Just stayed at Malmaison in London for 1 night with my sisters. A fantastic, clean and classy hotel, greeted by Mario at reception. We couldn’t ask for more friendly, accommodating staff. The location is spot on near some wonderful pubs, in a very pretty and quiet square with a 15 mins walk to the buzzing vibrant Covent Garden! Parking at the front was very accessible and easy. Breakfast was served by Violetta, not sure if I spelt it right! Very lovely , well mannered and attentive. Eggs Benedict out of this world! Will definitely be staying here again when I’m in London and won’t bother searching endlessly for other hotels choices . Malmaison is now top of my list! But will be staying in a suite on floor five like my sister next time!! Haha…. Thank you Malmaison 😍
I stayed here for 1 night on business and it was all I expected from the Mal, knowing the reputation from the Liverpool hotel where i live. Gorgeous room, really quiet, clean and very classy all round. The front of the building and then into the reception is exactly what you get in the rooms, nothing hidden (some hotels look lovely but the rooms let them down), this is stylish and elegant all the way through, great staff too. See you in the summer!
