A total nightmare. If you had asked me the day after leaving, I would have said I was delighted with the hotel. Almost two weeks later, the only thing I can say is that I won't book again this hotel. If I'm being honest, the facilities were really great; the building is nice and the room we got was amazing, and there's also a bar/restaurant that is pretty good. But the service... Well, I'm beyond disappointed with the service provided. It all started a the day before getting there. I received a charge of 309€ (that’s more of half the price of the room). I know some hotels reserve the right to pre-authorise cards prior to arrival to ensure there are funds available, but it’s the first time they pre-authorise so much money. Anyway, I contacted them (they have an online chat) and the lady who assisted me told me that if I paid at the hotel with the same card I put in the booking, they would only complete the transaction and they wouldn’t take any more payment on the card. When I arrived there, they asked for my car and they charge the rest of the payment in the same card (127€). Things got a bit weirder when doing the check-out, they asked me for my card again. I explained that they had asked me for my card the first day and they charged me what it was left to pay, and they told me it was a pre-authorise and that they would charge me what was left in that moment. At that moment I didn’t understand anything but well, I thought: “they know what they’re doing so…”. I gave them my card, they cancelled the previous pre-authorise, which means they returned me the 127€ and they took them again. Okay, anyone could think that after this, everything would have ended. Unfortunately for me, it was far from ending. Almost a week later, I got another charge in my card; this time it was the total amount of the price of the room. I don’t know about you but I’m not rich, and I was left with no money at all in my bank account. I called the hotel and they told me that they didn’t know anything, that I should talk with my bank. I called my bank and they told me that they payment I believed I made at the hotel (the 309€ and the 127€) were temporary holds and that they still had to cancel those pre-authorise for me to get my money back. What did I do? I sent an email to the hotel asking them to cancel the pre-authorise, as they had done the last day. Six days after and I’m still waiting for a response. So my question is: what good is it to have a nice building and facilities if the service you provide it’s an absolute crap? So people, if you’re gonna pay with a debit card be careful, they are gonna get you every penny.

I was one of the speakers of an event. My event host has paid for 3 nights of accommodations, and I wanted to add 1 more night. When I checked their online price was 76 pounds, then on the same day when my host called them up to book it, they charged me 126 ponds and said the price has changed , and cannot do anything about it. Hers the thing, consider the hotel already charged thousands of pounds on the event, and you cannot even honor your own website rate, it’s quite ridiculous. Also we were in the bottom floor of the conference area, there was such a stinky smell - like something raw and rotted. My room number was 453, it was located right next to one of their offices. Every morning there was loud conversation and movement woke me up. The elevators/Lifts were not reliable. One is under maintenance since I checked in until I checked out. (June 4 to June 8). There were some moments I had to push the floor button multiple times to get it moving. So I gave up and walked the stairs instead during my stay. Not a good experience at all.

Visited for drinks and a snack with elderly relative. Bouncers on door were not a good sign. Bouncers patrolling bar area was more like a prison yard. Beer choice and quality very poor. Had to return two pints in succession. Do not visit.

I stayed here as part of a graduate study abroad program and I won't not stay here again. The actual accommodations were average but there were a handful of things that were just unacceptable: the elevator was and has been out for months, 2/3 front doors would not open, our door knob would fall off the door each time we left the room, the bath products were super poor quality, the carpeting on the floor was frayed and I constantly tripped over it, to name a few. My experience with the front desk staff was varied, with some staff being helpful and some being petty. Also the shower had mold. It does have easy access to the bus/train, which makes getting around London relatively easy.

Stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night to attend an event at Wembley. We had a deluxe double with single bed room. Amazing rate for a spacious and clean room in a beautiful hotel. Great location. Tube is a good 15 mins walk away. Car park has limited spaces, we were lucky to get a space. Breakfast was amazing, pool was lovely too. Would definitely use this hotel next time we go to London.
