Lovely, helpful staff and awesome location in the trendy suburb of Soho. The bathrooms got a bit gross after multiple persons used them (bring flip flops for the showers and toilers girls!) but the overall layout was warm and welcoming.

This was my second experience staying at a hostel in London. I have to say...the hostel looks a whole lot better in the pictures, so don't fool yourself. BUT...it's also not as bad as some of the reviews that I've read here. The hostel is located at the best place in London possible; some of the best hotels are there...

excellent location, average hostel, no breakfast, friendly staff so basically think what you are looking for before booking. Handy to get to anywhere around for parties, food, shops and other travel spots but not luxury stay if that is what you are after.

Good price, Near Underground I would recommend the hotel for friends and family , location is great and safe. Not much of a view but when we are in a city like London we imagine it would be difficult to find a hostel with a great view together with low price.

It was not too bad for a hostel but they can improve. Prices are ok but it can be cheaper. The facilities can be cleaned better. But is has a great great location in London. Near shops, museums and tourist places.

This hostel is all about location just a stone throwaway from piccadilly circus and the main theatres. Close to covent garden too. In regards to the rooms.... well they are spacious but not very clean and people make lots of noise at night which makes it hard to sleep. Breakfast is not included and be sure to bring a lock...

Literally! Our bed had fleas in it so we had to be moved from the room. The heating was on full blast and the window opened only a little bit. Towels cost extra, as did bedding. If you're body conscious, then showering with a bunch of naked men isn't for you, (thankfully I'm not). Actually there's a lot of naked...

I stayed in July 2012 during the Olympics and it is in the best location you can imagine! Piccadilly circus, tube, soho just a few stones away from it. Ugly rooms, but they changed me immediately as I complained all the all men room they gave me and changed me to a 4 girls room....during the Olympics! Plus the room...

You get what you pay for and this certainly applies here. This is for people who are on a budget and only need a place to rest their heads when they are not out exploring the city. If this is what you plan on doing this place should suit you fine. I think people often have their expectations to high...

Location is perfect you can literally ramble on to Oxford street and the tube station is a stones throw away (: cafes nightlife and resteraunts surround the dungeon that is the hostle. Rooms are basic, beds are awful, you are given...

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
