Stayed one night, as a base for an event at the o2. It's not a great location for that venue, as the taxi ride can take some time. However, it's brilliant for exploring Greenwich, which is all on your doorstep, with The Cutty Sark just a couple of minutes away. There's plenty of parking on site, and good value for...

Have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years, as it's close to the O2. Stayed last weekend, and it's deteriorated to the extent where it is tired , dated and worn throughout the hotel not just the rooms. The breakfast comprised of the cheapest ingredients available and was inedible. Definitely won't be paying £130 to stay here...

This hotel appealed because of the location and cost. The hotel is well located for Greenwich attractions being just up from the Cutty Sark. It was also an easy boat trip from Greenwich to the O2 arena in both directions. The hotel was clean but had few frills (given the value for money it is hardly surprising). The room was...

I like the Devonport and it's always my choice when I come to Greenwich ...but having stayed in a variety of hotels recently including a budget hotel I do think there are gaps.In the bathroom there are not the full range of toiletries I have come to expect e.g. no shampoo and only one small sliver of tablet soap for...

Stayed here one night. Deal had dinner and breakfast included. Lovely view over Cutty Sark from the room. Nice menu although limited choice. Great service. Next day on the fast clipper service in walking distance of hotel to Westminster. Cheaper but less pretty option would have been the DLR and a travel card! Greenwich is wonderful too if you haven't...

Stayed here for one night during November and had a good time. Room clean and spacious, food lovely and seen off with some truly great breakfast. Felt like a holiday rather then a work stay-over. Will definitely return again.

Twas my first time in London, and Devonport House did not disaapoint. Loved the ambience, and the conference facilities were good too.. Rooms were ok, and had a warm cosy feeling to it. Would reccomend to anyone escaping the hustle n bustle of the City Center. Cool and calm place!

We've stayed in London many times but never at Greenwich before. I was delighted to find a reasonably priced hotel on the very edge of the World Heritage site in a smart looking building, and with parking available. So I was waiting for there to be a catch. There isn't one! I guess you could be caught out by not...

Only stopped for one night when visiting the O2. Clean refurbished room on 4th floor with decent bathroom. Nice bar area and good breakfast although not a great choice. Great location for Greenwich tourist sites.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
