The staff here were extremely nice and helpful. When we got to the room there was no toilet paper or towels, but the gave us some right away when we let them know about it. The room were pretty small, but we did not mind since we were only sleeping there. The hotel is located in a great area and...

I stayed with my friend at this hotel, we got a room with en-suite and really fantastic cooked breakfast as well as a selection from the continental table too. The breakfast was really good and the service was definitely 5*. It wasn't a heavy piled on one like you get in most, yet this is enough to keep you happy...

Extremely disappointed with my stay and won't be staying again. Pillow case covered in spots of blood (not exaggerating when I say covered). Can't have been washed since previous use of room, just turned over, whether that's from bed bugs I don't know. A couple of random stains on the sheet too. Building work wasn't mentioned to me when arriving...

I arrived late after travelling and the staff were extremely accommodating. The room was very comfortable. When we left in the morning, after missing breakfast, we were very kindly offered a late breakfast. We met the owner who has had the hotel for 47 years and he is delightful. Hugely recommend.

Perfect location for families. We stayed in a room for 5 person and it was very spacious. The employees were very friendly. It is near the metro and not far away from the city centre. Good price for a good staying.

We were in London for a few days, we didn't want to spend much money and we wanted to enjoy mainly outside, so if you are searching for a nice, clean, small and calm hotel for a good money, this is your choice! Really nice people, great breakfasts, we were satisfied!

We spent 3 days at the St. Simeon while attending a seminar. The owner and the receptionist were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is simple and clean. The rooms are small and functional. Everything worked fine. In the price breakfast was included. It is served in the basement of the hotel and you get english or continental breakfast.

Stayed at St Simeon. Nothing spectacular but it was good for 4 of us. Got a room with 4 beds. Ok. Clean enough snd comfortable. It was close to restaurants and reasonably priced. A quick walk to Harrods and Kensington gardens. I would recommend for snyone wanting to stay in this part of London on a budget.

We arrived on Sunday 21/08/16, we were shown to a room in the basement. The room was not big enough for our party. My wife is a wheelchair user, and also our 5 year grandson was with us. We asked for a bigger room. The receptionist assured us we would get one the next day. The next day we were...

I was very pleased to find a reasonably priced room for five (two adults, children ages 14, 11, and 9) in downtown London. We stayed in the family room on the first floor. This room has a loft, which my younger daughters absolutely loved. The loft was great for our children's ages, but you would probably want to keep toddlers...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
