Cute little hotel in a quiet area of town, yet very centrally located. Staff was very friendly. Rooms had everything you needed, but a bit small and might be an odd shape (at least mine was). Overall it’s a fine place to stay if you are just looking for somewhere rather basic and comfortable. Pros: - Central location, but on...

Great little hotel in the heart of Bloomsbury. 5 min walk to British Museum. 5 mins by bus from Euston Station (number 73 or 390). Hotel undergoing renovations so there was a bit of noise in the hotel during the day. We asked for a ground floor room as I was traveling with my elderly mother, the hotel gladly accommodated...

Stayed on business. Ideal location for British Museum and only 20 minute walk to Kings Cross / Oxford Street. Room was spacious, clean and had mod cons. Breakfast was good. Overall a good stay and would visit again - much more friendly that one of the big chain hotels.

Stayed here last week for 3 nights with a friend. Lovely room, very clean, so pleased to have a fridge in our room, bathroom spotless with toiletries. Our only complaint was the heat in the room, however, when we spoke to staff they soon turned heating down for us. Great breakfast, one morning we had to wait for 20mins for...

Had a lovely night stay in the quadruple family room here in the half term. Perfect for all ages took my mum, sister and son and we all were very comfortable. Ideal location close to tube stations, with a nice walk through Russell Park. Thought it was fantastic for the money and the breakfast was lovely and set us up...

We just wanted a cheap hotel for a couple of nights in central London and selected the Staunton on the basis of the Trip Adviser reports. Its location was ideal, being within a short walk of Soho and Theatreland. We had room B1 in the basement and it was exceptionally clean and spacious although the en suite WC and shower...

My partner and I had the top floor room, number 302. The walls are thin as we could hear the people next door 'doing it' what felt like for hours in the night! It's not ideal either climbing up those stairs after a night out, but nothing major. The room was basic and had all that you would need. I...

Stayed here for 1 night , the welcome was good and lots of information on offer . This is just my thoughts but it seems more of a B&B than a hotel . As mentioned the public areas do need updating , the room was very clean and the bathroom was big . the shower screen needed fixing as it...

Booked the hotel and then contracted them to arrange an early check-in (as it says to do on their website) to be told that I would need to check availability on the day. I arrived early to be told that an early check-in wouldn't be possible but I could leave my bag in reception. I noted that I was uncomfortable...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
