Alexandra hotel is a good hotel, I advice this for its position, few metres from central paddinton station. The room was clean, i advice this hotel especially to young people for a short trip in London. Only breakfast was nothing especial but aceptable, for its price.

Chose the cheapest room in London so did not expect much, but presently surprised. Ideal location and great value for money. Staff helpful and to say it included a continental breakfast could not fault it. Would stay again. They even kept our bags safe after check out while we walked round London

When I'd read some reviews about the hotel, I was getting worried by negative opinions. However that concern proved unfounded when my wife and I visited there in reality. The room we stayed was 243 located on the 4th floor. To my relief, there was a lift next to the reception desk. The room was spacious enough for us to...

My wife and I just returned from a two night stay in this hotel. It was not expensive so we didn't expect much. But it is value for money. The beds are reasonably comfortable in small rooms and breakfast was basic. Our room was up 4 flights of stairs and was across the road from the reception. None of these...

The hotel is located in the heart of Paddington, quite near to Paddington station. The place is full of restaurants, shops and what not. Hyde Park is within walking distance, The hotels renovated rooms at upper floors are the best to stay, which are brand new with all facilities like kettle, tea coffee, huge led tv. English breakfast is acceptable...

Our (double) room was at the basement and it was incredibly small, we barely had space to put our things so that we could get to the bathroom (where we wouldn't fit 2 persons at the same time). The walls were very dirty and the entire room had a weird old-ish smell. The sheets were clean though and that was...

When you choose 2 star hotel you don't expect much, you just want to get max out of it. Its 120 % worth the money spent on it. The hotel has perfect lication, very central, just 3 min walking distance from tube. The rooms are tidy. Personel is extremely welcoming and nice. Didn't try breakfasts though, so can't say anything...

We booked a twin room - it was a tiny room located in the attic, with no direct lift. Doorway on the small landing opened dangerously onto a twisting, narrow staircase. Stains on the bed covers, a window that wouldn't lock and even in November it was sooooo hot even without any heating on. Had to keep the fan on...

A typical but nice old hotel in London near Hyde Park. Our room was small but after reconstruction which made modern look. Unfortunately hotel lift has no access to all floors and I recommend for families with babies to left their prams by the reception desk. Hotel breakfast was included.
