Dirty carpets, walls, and mouldy shower. Mattress poor. Beds never made, cover pulled up over wrinkled sheets. Sheets changed once but not tucked in. Dest clerk surly and unhelpful. Heart sunk when we arrived and saw entrance lobby. Awful breakfast. Watered juice. Hardboiled eggs in a bowl. Cheap dry cereal. Bowl of cheap sweet rolls in a croissant shape. Stack... More

if you are on a budget, then for the location this hotel is pretty good for London during the summer. It was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel could do with some serious refurbishment as it is very dated. We got a room on the top floor - don't go there. It is basically a converted attic... More

Stayed one night during the week. The receptionist was rude, untidy. Our room was in the back on the 3rd floor, well that was what we were told! The stairs very narrow and the 3rd floor up 6flight of stairs, banisters wobbly and the dust hits the back of throat, lift did not go up to 3rd floor. The room... More

Arrived early afternoon, gave name and immediately asked to pay. I don't trust anywhere that makes you pay on arrival and for this place it's with good reason... The room was tiny and hot, with the window only able to open an infinitesimal amount. There's scaffolding around the building,  so keeping the curtains open for airflow is a no go... More

DIRTY Bedding not changed once, despite claims to be. Pillows stained. Shower tray mouldy! LOUD Construction within hotel above our room, banging and drilling from 8am to 6pm. No warning given when we booked or checked in. RUDE Concierges lazy and shockingly rude. Zero regard for customer service. Also - hot and stuffy room, window opens tiny fraction and no... More

A friend and I stayed here for one night (30th June) in room 316 (which was actually in a separate building across the road from the main hotel). The room was an okay size and had everything we needed. Bathroom was okay too. The room needed a bit of attention and perhaps needed a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was... More

A friendly hotel. Despite hearing our neighbours on both sides, we slept we in crisp, clean cotton sheets! There was a bit of a problem with the cold tap in the basin which was also missing it's plug, but we managed to get it to work in the end! I would stay again. The breakfast was comprehensive.

Apart from the location of this hotel, i have nothing positive to add and would not stay in this establishment ever again. Old, filthy, tired, rundown, dreary, staff are depressed. Given the worst room in the hotel, located in the basement, bathroom was full of mould and absolutely an unhygienic environment. in the process of a dispute with travel agent... More

Found it very difficult to get my luggage through he heavy smokescreen door and over step within the room.It was also very difficult to hold 2 pieces of luggage and open the main entrance wooden door! I had to provide my own breakfast as there was nothing available for one who was recently diagnosed as having coeliac disease, and I'm... More

Simple, small but comfortable room, tea and cofee making facility in room with milks and sugar etc small desk, chair and mirror, standard stuff really, average size flat screen tv on wall, small clean bathroom with pleasant wall tiles. Orange-brown curtain interior with wooden doors . Sayas Paddington but I say it's nearer to Bayswater. I got the room for... More
