This is London, so everything depends on how much you want to pay. This hotel seems to be used for people who want to stay near Kings Cross/St Pancreas stations. It's cheap by London standards and therefore you get what you pay for. The rooms are tiny, I could touch both walls when standing next to the bed. There is not much sound proofing but guests appear to be respectful. The street outside is very quiet at night. Don't expect much and you'll be fine.
Comfortable rooms with excellent breakfast. Very convenient to Kingscross station and underground. Also very convenient to St Pancreas station. On Picadilly line so convenient travel to Heathrow. Also convenient to Euston station and underground. Good restaurants in area.
Stayed here for a few nights. Very old and basic. Rooms are clean but very small. If younstruggle with stairs would not reccommend as steep and small staircases. Breakfast is hearty but limited selection.
the room was for a single person , very small compact and shower room tiny . The hotel needs a bit of a spruce up , extremely lacking any paint work decoration .It did not help knowing on arrival my bin was full of rubbish obviously housekeeping needs training. The radiator was all scratched up and paintwork was dirty (skirting boards ) The only good thing I can say was the breakfast was good in the morning.
Thankfully just a nights stay here as we were travelling on the Eurostar the next day. Room 2A in the basement really should come with a health warning! I could list many things but the biggest issue was the wall down the side of the wardrobe is completely black with damp and mould. It smells of it as soon as you open the door. Lovely staff but this needs sorting. There are damp and mould patches everywhere but a complete wall is just ridiculous! Obviously some rooms here are ok by reading other reviews. But 2A needs some serious attention before anyone stays in it.
