We stayed at the Howard Winchester for a one night stay due to its proximity to the train station. If you are needing somewhere clean to stay to catch a train, this place is perfect for that. If you are looking to spend some time in London, stay elsewhere. We booked a triple room and were assigned to a bottom...

Horrible hotel and no value for money. Bearing in mind a premier in Covent garden was cheaper but i was to late to book it by the time I had confirmed my train tickets. The room was hostel standard. A bucket under the sink which I think was doubled up as a bin....but main purpose was for the dripping tap....

This was our second visit to the Howard Winchester Hotel. It's hard to fault at the price. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for 5* luxury this isn't the place for your but if you're looking for a crash pad in a great location this can't be beaten.

Room: first I had a room in the older part of the hotel. I cannot describe it well enough. It probably hasn't been touched since the 50's. Very minimalistic. I had to change rooms because I could not get wireless there and need to work. The second room was on the ground floor. More recently refurbished but very, very small;...

I stopped here with my fiancé and parents as we were in London to watch a The Lion King. As I said, the hotel has an ideal location being so close to the station but other than that, there isn't really any other good points about this hotel. Beds were uncomfy, showers were awful and breakfast was not nice at...

First of all, location is excellent, on the doorstep of Kings Cross Station and walking distance of Euston which is down the road. I only stayed for one night and spent little time in the room. Its a budget hotel through and through, clean but dated on the inside. Would recommend for a short 1 or 2 night stay but...

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. Rooms were very small and shower not up to much but clean enough. We didn't spend much time in the room so not really a problem. Location is very good only a 2 minute walk to Kings Cross underground or rail station. Breakfast is basic (full English with fried egg only)...

Stayed here for one night and wasnt in the hotel long, but the staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms are ok. Not particularly spacious but functional. The hotel is off the main road so quieter than might be expected. Walking distance to Kings Cross / St Pancras.

The location was absolutely perfect, 5 minute walk from Kings Cross if that and they allowed you to store your luggage with them so you could go out for the day and not have to drag it around with you. Room was clean, beds quite small and shower didn't work that well. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was OK,...

Standing on the doorstep of this hotel, you can see Kings Cross station, so the location is really good for the tube, British Rail and Eurostar at St Pancras. Other good points are:- the beds and pillows were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast is included, full cooked English was better than anticipated - timing is strict...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
