I think the guesthouse must have changed hands since the last reviews appeared (October 2016) because it was not as described by the majority of previous reviewers. Yes the sheets were clean and bathroom was clean, it was very quiet and very convenient for tube into central London, but...

We needed a somewhere to stay that was close to a tube station, had plenty of car parking and was comfortable. The Heatherbank Guest House was exactly what we were looking for and the freshly cooked breakfast made to order was a very nice bonus (and friendly staff as well).

My boyfriend and I moved from Canada to England for work last year. My dad researched areas and decided North Finchley was a cute and safe place. We quickly found the Heather bank and signed for a week Stay while we found our long term housing. The people that run the place are very sweet. They were always around if...

Excellent location, 5 mins from tube station, and 1 min to North Finchley high Street which has plenty of cafes and restaurants. Free parking in very safe street. Free Wi-Fi which was very fast....

The only problem is the distance from the central london, but the service is amazing. The rooms are very cool and roomy, and the breakfast is very well-served, with many options of typical english food like omelets and beans. Another good impression left was the friendliness of the owners.

Chose this venue on price, free parking and proximity to tube station (end of the street with half-hour journey to City Centre. The accommodation was good, clean and comfortable, stayed 2 nights, staff were very welcoming, we would certainly stay again & would recommend it.
