Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

I stayed here on business and was told I would be in the annexe. An annexe by definition is an extension to the main building. I followed a guy 100 yards up the main street crossed the road and went down a side street. I then was told my room was on the top floor up six flights

Having read reviews I was apprehensive about booking especially the only room available was in the attic. Although no lifts, there were not many stairs and the attic building itself was spotless including our room , also surprised at the size of room. Will stay again.

I stayed here for one night and on booking over the telephone was given very clear instructions about finding the hotel on arrival at Victoria Railway Station. When I arrived at the hotel I was delighted to find that I had been upgraded from the annexe to the main building -

I knew that a Best Western would not let me down. This one was really good, particularly given the very good rate. It is one of the many hotels in London which are conversions of former private houses, but it has modernised rooms and bathrooms. The reception staff were

Same as above - each room has a coffee / tea maker, at least 4 floors in the annex buildings. Small sitting area in main building but not a family room that I saw.

Is it possible to request a room in the main building while making reservation?
Yes. Contact the hotel ahead of time and let them know what you would like. They are very accommodating.

Hi! The Heathrow express comes into Paddington and then you need to go by underground to Victoria. This hotel is about a good 10 minute walk from the station. I am travelling there next week and will stay at the Premier Inn instead because it is quite a bit closer to Victoria. Or you could book a hotel closer to Paddington station.

what is the most effective way to get to the hotel from Heathrow?
I always take the tube. It is the least costly. It is about a 45 minute ride and you will need to change tube lines. Follow the signs at Heathrow for the "Underground". Then take the tube (aka Underground) from your terminal at Heathrow. Only the Picadilly line goes to and from Heathrow. To change tube lines, I change at the South Kensington tube stop or Sloane Square to take either the District or Circle line (whichever train comes first) to Victoria Station. The hotel is about a 4 block walk. You may want to view the tube routes by downloading a map located at Transport for London Web Site tfl.gov.uk. For the about the same amount of time but more costly, you can take the Express Train (follow the signs at Heathrow for Express Train) to Paddington Station about $20USD. There you will need to transfer to the tube line (aka Underground) either the District or Circle line to Victoria Station and walk about 4 blocks to the hotel. The most expensive (approximate 65-100GBP which equates to about $135.00USD) taking a taxi, uber, or hired car directly to the hotel and probably sit on the motorway in traffic (I have taken a cab from the hotel to Heathrow. Expensive and sat in traffic (like LA) Safe travels! You c

What is the most affordable transportation from Heathrow?
We traveled to London in June. Used Uber from the airport as we had 3 bags to deal with. We had a great driver and price was not too bad and help with bags was appreciated.
