Group of 3 friends stayed Saturday night, the nice man on reception upgraded us for free to deluxe room and told us we had free breakfast which I wasn't aware of. Very nice continental breakfast with fresh made eggs on toast. Car parking included 10 pound for the whole night which was so convenient and the location is great, right near shepards Bush Station. Would stay again when visiting for shirt periods

Like many hotels this one has good & bad points. Handy location if you are in the area for tv centre & Westfield shopping centre. I was slightly puzzled as to why after paying to park in front of the hotel we were asked to hand our car keys over which were just left in the box with our room number on,clearly not very secure. Not really suitable for anyone with walking difficulties due to steps, the breakfast room in particular is down 2 flights of stairs even if you are staying on the bottom floor, that's assuming you are staying in that building as this hotel is divided into 2 buildings sandwiching another hotel between them. The room we stayed in was converted from what I assume was an old entrance & as such still had a doorway instead of a sealed window, somewhat noisy due to traffic. Would I book here again? Because of my wife's walking difficulty probably not unless nothing else was available, otherwise it would be certainly one to consider

We were supposed to watch the album launch concert of coldplay near the hotel thats why we chose to stay here.

People in the place were nice but we had to wait for about 20mins to be checked in even though we arrived exactly 2pm. As for the room, its okay, a little bit dusty here and there, maybe because the window was open and in view of the road.

We only stayed for a night and didnt get to try the breakfast but I guess overall experience was okay.

I stayed here for one night to attend a concert at the Shepherds Bush Empire. I definitely would not want to stay any longer than that as the experience was, frankly, a bit sad.

I have quite high standards when it comes to cleaning having worked in the industry for many years, but at the very least upon arrival you expect to find a clean toilet, clean fridge, clean glass, chrome that was been cleaned and buffed properly. These are all basic things that should not be missed, but these are all things that were not done.

The high dusting was also not done (this is the first thing I check) and the bath mat should have been rejected as there were dirty marks on it. The bed linen was at least clean, can’t say the same about what was going on underneath but that’s to be expected.

This isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it was also quite noisy through the night. Not just passing traffic outside, but guests running around and knocking on each other’s doors long into the night.

Check in was also quite slow, and it wasn’t especially busy when I checked in. Luckily I was not in a hurry, but I had been travelling all day and just wanted to get to my room and relax.

I decided not to have breakfast at the hotel. It was complimentary, however when I asked the guy at the desk about vegan options I may as well have been taking to a piece of stale bread (which I think is what I would have ended up eating by the sound of things). There is a Wetherspoons a short walk from the hotel, I recommend going there instead.

I was going to mention all of these things on checkout, but the same guy that checked me in was on the phone and didn’t ask the customary question about whether I enjoyed my stay.

It’s such a shame because, from afar, the building and the rooms look ok. They just need to get the basics right.

The biggest problem with this hotel was the cleaning, they barely cleaned our room despite us asking them to, our wet towels were changed to new dry but dirty ones. They would not mop or vacuum the floor. The service and attitude at the breakfast towards us was rude for no reason and the bathroom, especially the sink was extremely small. Apart from this, they had a good air-conditioner in the room which helped in the summer heat and the food itself at the breakfast was good. Overall, I believe you definitely pay for more than you get, but it's worth a stay if your options are limited.

After a long trip from the US I arrived to this hotel to found out that my prepaid reservation was cancelled and the hotel was currently closed . Nobody advised me on this situation before neither assisted me finding a new place to stay. The hotel just told me that Expedia will refund the money but I had to find a new hotel myself that cost me extra money. Dont book this hotel

I stayed at this hotel for one night in August whilst I was working in London.
I travel to London normally once every couple of weeks for work and I’m usually on a budget, so I try out lots of different hotels around the £100 a night mark.
Some I go back to time and time again, but I will never be going back to the OYO Grantley.

The outside looked really tired but I don’t judge a book by its cover.
When I checked in the guy behind the desk asked me for photo ID. Whilst I was looking for some I remarked that I’m not sure if I had any photograph ID and I couldn’t remember seeing that as a requirement on booking.com. The Man merely pointed straight at a small hotel policy hanging on the wall and said nothing as if that was an answer of some sort. His whole attitude seemed to be one of false interest like I was about to be hustled into buying a cheap watch in a street market.

The hotel itself was being painted on the inside, but my room was small and felt very tired. There was a paint chipped table, and a small fridge just plonked on the floor. The bed linen felt very cheap but at least it was clean. What I couldn’t get over was the really strong smell of smoking in the room, it was truly enduring and horrible.
Everything in and about the room felt cheap. The TV was about 17 inches old, and fuzzy, the symbols on the remote control were mostly worn off and there was what appeared to be food stuck in between some of the buttons.

I thought about asking for another room but something made me think that they were all like this. I was close to not staying but I couldn’t miss work the next day so I stayed no left early.

Some budget hotels are great. For around £15 more I could have stayed at the Goose and Fox just a little further out. That’s where I’ll head back to next time. OYO Grantley never again.

We arrived and there was no hot water in the evening. In the bathroom was very dirty. The bed was comfortable but I would expect to have some bedside cabinet or shelf for putting my glasses amd drink down. I had to climb over my husband to get out of bed as the bed was pushed against the wall (the room was too small to grant a path on either side of the bed). Last but not least NO spare socket for plugging in a charger. Had to disconnect TV or other hotel property to charge our phones. At a price of over £200 a night in Shepherds Bush I would have expected a better standard. When advising the staff I was met with indifference. Grandly hotel you will not see us again!

OYO booking site reset my dates when i logged through from booking.com, no other site had done this, this was 6pm and when i realised i had booked for that night rather than in 2 days time when i needed to the room i cancelled straight away, called OYO to explain & they agreed a refund. An hour later they called back to say as i hadnt cancelled before 9am that morning it was my fault and kept my money. Technically this was my fault but having offered a refund to renege on this and be this horrible when it was obvious i had made a mistake means i will never use an OYO hotel again

I enjoyed my stay in OYO Grantly hotel Shepard's Bush. I was warmly welcomed by Faz on reception who was always helpful. My room was very comfortable, warm and cleaned daily. My room had a flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities, & free wi-fi. Shepard's Bush Green is just across from the hotel and some of the rooms have a great view of it. Westfield Shopping Center is less than a 5 minute walk. Holland Park of Kensington & Chelsea is a few minutes by bus otherwise a 25 minute walk and worth a visit to see peacocks, squirrels, the Kyoto Garden, waterfall and Dutch Gardens. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast of eggs however you like them, toast, cereal, juice, croissants, tea & coffee. At check out Reception kindly looked after my luggage before I had to leave for the airport later that day. I look forward to returning to OYO Grantly Hotel when I visit London again.

Ciao.
