This was my second stay here and was happy returning to this hotel. This time, I was unlucky to get a room on the 5th floor and hence had to contend lugging bags and myself up and down each time. But for this, everything else remained great! Great location, clean rooms, cheerful employees and adequate (but repetitive) breakfast...Ticked most boxes,... More

Hotel is clean and well located a short walk from London Paddington. The hotel is fine for a one night stay but wouldn't recommend for longer as the rooms are small (even by London standards). Poor breakfast with bad quality sausages etc. Okay but not good.

This hotel is ideally located within walking distance of Paddington Station. It is clean and bright and serves a very good breakfast. The biggest downside is that there is no lift and the stairs are steep and narrow. The rooms are very small and the bath is totally microscopic (single room). Most of the staff is outstanding and go out... More

Very lovely hotel. Very kind, helpful and professional staff. Tasty breakfasts (english - bacon, sausages, eggs, baked beans)! Perfect location - just few steps from Paddington Station, walking distance (in my opinion) to Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Buckingham Palace and maybe even Big Ben.

Rooms are tiny -- even by London standards -- but clean. The biggest negative is that there is no elevator in the hotel and no porters on duty to help with bags. I was carrying a 20 kilo suitcase so this was definitely an issue. (There are 7-8 steps outside the hotel as well. If not for the kindness of... More

Hotel si very nice and everything is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and worthwhile. Iwas in a singl room and had a balcony. On the terrace there were a table and two chairs, which made it possible to sit outside with friends and drink coffee. I had a water jug and I made coffee and tea. It was... More

Mattresses in the hallway. Noisy as faces a wine bar strip so lots of drunken people at all hours with car alarms being set off so very little sleep and couldn't get gluten free breakfast I asked for before i booked as they wouldn't do it that morning no explanation just a flat no, kitchen staff rude and unfriendly. Very close to Paddington Staton but room was very small. The bathroom was so small that only one person could be in there at a time. The door had to be opened to use the wash hand basin and there was no where to hang towels, etc. Breakfast was adequate but not enough room for everyone. There were also single... More

For those heading to Heathrow Airport the following day, great location to London Paddington and Heathrow Express train to airport. It is a short walk to the train station. My room was clean but small. There was no lift. Wifi was so/so.
