First the good: The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. To be honest that’s all that really matter in a hotel! Obviously if you’re going to a game at Stamford Bridge, well, you really can’t get any closer. For avid fans, we were there on game day and we saw the team arrive early morning and be taken away in an executive coach, that was fun and would be great if you’ve Chelsea max kids! The bad: The hotel is a bit tired and feels like a football hotel! Needs some updating. The bathrooms are a strange design and the shower was difficult to use. A bit weird! The rooms were very noisy. The air con was amongst the loudest I’ve experienced, even with ear plugs! I have no idea how anyone could even attempt sleep without ear plugs. Main gripe is no residents bar. We came back to hotel when pubs closed at 11 (visiting England is a weird experience why do your pubs shut so early?). We were told the hotel bar closed at 11 as well. Perhaps this is a covid thing but really did detract from the hotel as middle aged people are hardly going to go clubbing!

Hotel's Favorite
As a Chelsea fan, we stayed as a 50th birthday treat. We were checked in 3 hours earlier than the usual time and advised to let the receptionist know when we were going out so they could put a gift in the room. On our return I found a lovely note and a boxed tumbler glass with the CFC badge emblazoned on it. Such a nice gesture. We paid for breakfast for the 2 night stay on our arrival and it was first class with table service and constant attention by the restaurant staff. Highly recommended we will definitely stay here again First class

Stayed in the Copthorne Hotel as part of an Omega Theatre break. Checked in at 3pm - room spacious & clean - no view from room 210 On returning to the hotel at 11pm we were informed that the hotel bar was closed. Not advised at check in of this. If we had known, would have stayed out longer!! Bathroom had an issue with water not draining away. Fellow guest could not have bath, due to water still draining away. Breakfast was average. Plates cold, food not enough and very limited fruit selection. If I book another theatre break, I wouldn’t stay here again due to location and lack of facilities

I booked this hotel as I was on a course in Chelsea Harbour and came across a great deal via a third party website that included breakfast. The beds were so comfy, very spacious room, a lovely hot powerful shower, and the breakfast in the morning was spot on and if you go before a match day it felt like I was the only one there. Overall great value for money. But I would expect a bit more if I was paying full price. Rooms very peaceful and blackout curtains.
