Traveled for a London weekend with family. Rooms were first class, Service from the staff on reception was exceptional. The bar area was "different" ...watch the waiter who offers to bring you the drinks !! It will cost you.... Overall a great stay,,

Really enjoyed our stay at Westminster Double Tree, the staff were very pleasant and extremely obliging. It is an excellent location, close to Buses and a short walk to the tube also there is a lot to be seen and to do in the immediate vicinity.

Great location, very close to the Thames, Big Ben, Pimlico underground and many more of london's attractions, but it's in a very quiet area away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely warm cookie on arrival, spacious room with a comfy bed and there was no noise from other rooms, rubbish view though. Maybe there could have been biscuits with tea and... More

We were extremely happy with our location as it took us only about 15 minutes to walk from Victoria station to the hotel which is where the Gatwick express stops, and then less than ten minutes to walk from the hotel to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben etc. Once you get there you can see the London eye just across the... Brought my mum and kids here for a 3 night stay as she has never been to London before so wanted to splash out on a hotel that I thought would have some wow factor. I have been to many hotels in my time and I got to say this was just very plain and dated for a Hilton hotel.... More

Amazing location in a quiet backstreet of Westminster. Direct underground link from Heathrow to Westminster of about 30 minutes why pay 20 gbp for the fast train then a change when you can get there for 6gdp direct. Short 10 minute walk from station to hotel. The walk took us past Parliament and two friendly policemen who gave us final... More

The hotel has a great location (walking distance to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, London Eye). The welcomed us with cookies!! Great service and rate. Not a lot of places to eat nearby but it's always good to ride those classic black taxis.

I stayed for one night on my return back through London. I picked the location to be close to Westminster Abbey (which it is). The room was fine for a single traveller but would be very compact for a couple. The bathroom was tiny. Generally everything was fine. It's a modern hotel - soulless and without charm. There are no... More

Great location for sightseeing and using the underground. Within walking distance of places like Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
