The hotel was in a lovely clean and pretty area. Very nice place to walk around and felt safe too. The room was basic and small. The day we got there it was very hot however had no aircon in the room or any way of cooling - We opened the window which did nothing really as it was so... More

There was some initial confusion over my booking but eventually they sorted it out. Room 101 was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. The door was right up against the bed and I had difficulty getting my cases in. Once inside I had to really organize my self in the small space. The room was however clean and... More

Went to London for a weekend away, choice the B&B because of the location the fact it's a 5min walk from the tube, however on top of this walk we had a nice 4 story climb to the room. The room was 'cleaned' daily with the same dirty bed sheets being used and towels just being refolded on the racking.... More

Headline information: more than 'get what you pay for', but remember what you are paying for a Central London room. Great location, rooms are clean, breakfast is good, staff are helpful. St George's is the Pimlico end of the street, so a good 15 mins walk from Victoria. It fits the bill of a cheap and cheerful B&B in a... More

First thing I would like to say about this property is the location , if you are coming from Victoria Station direction it is not at the closest part of St. Georges Drive, it is a fair walk to the other end of St. Georges Drive, which is quite a long road. I was recently travelling on my first solo... More

St. Georges was clean, functional and in a great location. We were in room 20 some 8 flights and 81 steps high but this didn't bother us. Indeed we were offered a room move by the helpful guy on reception but this would only of been for one of our two nights so we declined. The Pimlico area is very... More

- Had to stay as a last minute resort. - beautiful rooms with King bed. - room slightly smaller but still decent. - staff were excellent- polite & very helpful. - breakfast was cooked from fresh, not frozen stuff. - Overall, for its price considering the beautiful location- it's a treat.

I thought this hotel was really good considering how inexpensive it was. My room was on the 3rd floor and although it was small, the bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was good and the staff were lovely. I'd stay again. Only negative was the smell in the bathroom (room 15). It was clean... More

We were on a top floor so lots of walking upstairs - Our neighbouring rooms had noisy guests who talked at 3am and with the closeness of the rooms you could hear it all - not the hotels fault, the occupants fault. We had two nights of poor sleep because of this :( shame really as it was a nice... More

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were all very nice, polite and helpful. I had a single room which was unlovely and very small. But it was really quiet, which is what I'd asked for and am really grateful to the staff for honoring my request. The hotel is quite shabby, the bed is uncomfortable. The... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
