For a "value" based overnight, that you pay for yourself for an early start from kings cross, St Pancras or Euston you can't beat this place, especially if you can get it at a last minute price. Clean and functional. Helpful staff. I always try this place first now... Whenever I am paying!

Close to Euston and Kings Cross. Quiet area. The room was OK although very hot as there was no a/c or fan provided. Comfortable and good enough for a couple of nights stay. The room had a double and single bed and it felt cramped.

Stayed here for 3 nights and overall no complaints at all. Very comfortable room on the ground floor. I requested twin beds and the room contained a double bed and a single so plenty of room! Very clean and towels changed daily. Breakfast excellent and plenty of choice. The only niggle was the banging of the front door but this... More

Booked a room from 4 people. Stayed in room 10 with my sons aged 8 and 9yrs. Very top of hotel up very steep stairs, lucky my mum is still very nimble! First thing that struck me was the drop from the lower window which opens fully with no restrictor, at least 60 feet I would stay.... definitely dangerous..see picture... More

Great area, quiet and just a few stations from the pulse. Newly renovated room, not very much space besides the beds though. And water from shower went wrong way, but maybe that is British standard :) Small breakfast room in the basement. Friendly staff. Fair enough!

Basic, great location with lots of places to eat and easy to travel around, parks and stations nearby. However room was hot but was a decent size. Breakfast was nice however service was extremely rushed and hence uncomfortable. I stayed four nights there and would return for a budget hotel. Customer service was good though and I felt very welcome... More

Good rooms walking distance from Kings Cross. Bathroom looks recently renovated. Nice small places to eat in the neighborhood and an underground station around the corner. I enjoyed the full English breakfast!

We stayed for 2 nights with our children. Chosen because it was close to Euston which meant we could walk from the station with our luggage this took us about 7 mins. This then meant we were close to walk back to catch the tubes. The hotel was lovely I personally prefer independent hotels over chains. The rooms were decorated... More

The hotel and rooms are extremely basic and cramped. I left a very important and valuable personal item in the room and I was totally horrified by the customer service I experienced when trying to get it back. I had to call around seven times and was continuously (and rudely) told they didn't have my item, only for it to... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
