Hotel is very small in all aspects. However, reception staff were very, very friendly. Bags taken to room for us as we arrived early. Went for 30th birthday and were very accommodating, breakfast was very limited but really nice. View from room was awful, but can't blame the hotel. Air con was AMAZING!!! Great location as well. Parking was just... More

Booked this hotel at the last minute to attend the Chelsea Hospital Founders Day. Perfect location as only about a 10 minute stroll through Chelsea, door to door. The hotel was being renovated where I room was but the noise was minimal and none overnight. Room was spotless and very large with air con. When we arrived the reception felt... More

We booked this hotel for 4 nights. It was our first time in London. We had a great time in this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was good with minibar, small refrigerator, water boiler, Tv and hair dryer. It also has safety box and the room also has nice air condition. Room service was great and they keep... More

Terrible experience. The hotel was overbooked, but only contacted me 1 hour before check-in to let me know, despite the fact that I had made a confirmed reservation 2 weeks in advance. Looking at the other reviews, it looks like this is a common experience with this hotel. The alternate accommodation proposed was 40 minutes across London in Bloomsbury. I... More

We like this quiet, unassuming, comfortable hotel and have stayed here many times the last ten years. Staff is not very good at English but as a rule very kind and helpful, the room is actually extremely spacious and comfortable for the prize, especially considering the exceptionally good location. You're absolutely smack in the middle of lovely Chelsea, without the... More

Rooms clean modern and airy. We upgraded to deluxe room and it was very roomy and comfortable. Great location too in a quiet and desirable area .Front desk staff very helpful and friendly we will use again. Didn't try bar or cafe. Easy to find and 4 minute walk from South Kensington tube. Some very good cafes around.

We arrived at the hotel to leave our bags as we arrived before check-in. We were checked in and upgraded and when we returned our bags were already in the room. The room was lovely, a massive and very comfortable bed. A good choice on the hospitality tray - although beware - some of the items are classed as 'mini-bar'... More

I had 3 nights here recently. The room was large, the bathroom was clean, of a good size and had large towels, the bed was king sized and was very comfortable and it was excellently located a short walk from South Kensington tube, Kings Road, restaurants and a top pub (The Hour Glass: don't miss it. Their food is terrific... More

This hotel is a modern chic and quirky hotel. The rooms are clean comfortable and very large by London standards. The colour schemes reflect the chic nature of the hotel theme. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We booked the romance room (last one left) and found complimentary adult toys were provided which was very novel. This hotel is ideally... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
