Hotel is 10 minute walk from St pancras/K Cross stations which is convenient for public transport to many places. Clean and comfortable room and continental breakfast was nice. Friendly staff and can say nothing negative about the stay.

Grotty, tiny and falling to bits. Wifi was hopeless. Walls paper thin. But hey it is 2 star, 90 quid a night and close to the Eurostar at St Pancras. You get what you pay for. More to spend on Eating Like Kings.

Just the one night here. The location is fine. 400 yards to Kings Cross transport hub. If you are after a cheap no frills room with a half-decent bed and shower this is worth considering. If you are after a swish hotel with all the extras look elsewhere. I was just after a bed that I could fall into after...

The Arriva hotel is situated close to Kings Cross railway station but as for the hotel rooms you couldn't swing a cat & there is very little comfort to be had in the room, it is clean & tidy but very small & the shower heads need cleaning as Poor water flow. On arrival I was given room 9 but...

Cheap & cheerful, but staff were extremely friendly & helpful.Room was very small and quite basic but asked for extra pillows and iron and staff were more than happy to accommodate. Great location for links to both kings cross shops and central London

Stayed here to go to a gig nearby, this part of kings cross seemed a little rough around the edges to say the least and the hotel clearly fitted these surroundings well. Room was small, pokey and hotter than the surface of the sun inside. Toilet constantly dripped/failed to flush correctly, door handles were falling off, light fittings were fastened...

Arriva is a 10 minutes good walk from King's Cross tube station. The rooms are spacious enough for the size of the hotel and cleaned regularly without much follow up. The best part is that the staff is cooperative with various needs of the guests. Travel plugs, wifi issues, bell desk etc. It has a couple of convenience stores and...

Great! Friendly people working there. Clean. Sober breakfast but good. We were really happy being there. It was a pitty that it was too hot in the hotel. And a bit noisy because of the traffic outside the hotel. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 👌👌👌

Stayed here last night because my "usual" hotel was full. It's basic and the decor in the rooms is a little tired, however I really cannot fault it for the price. It's in a great location, and it had everything I needed. Bed far more comfortable than your average 2-3 star hotel, and having a hairdryer in the room was...

Stayed here October of 2016 for a short weekend stay Friday to Sunday. Booked a double room for me and my girlfriend and it included 'breakfast'. By breakfast I mean a toaster , hot water tank for tea and a coffee tank. Yogurt, some cereal and fruit. No hot food at all, sitting area was very small and often I...

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
