Room was spacious and bathroom was lovely however the pillows were paper thin and affected our sleep considerably! Tv was good and although room was facing the road it was not too busy Overall a good hotel and we would stop again

We (3 freinds) staied at arriva hotel for 4 nights (336£). The room is small and basic, it was one double bed and one single with not to mixh room to move. The shower was ok but with weak water pressure. The room pretty clean but not new, with some maintenance problems. The best part is the location. 5 minuts... More

Excellent location within a few minutes walk across the road of Kings Cross station. My room was warm and quiet. Got a double room for myself at a reasonable price. Reception were helpful and friendly especially when I asked about leaving my case; the cost is 2.50 but as I told the staff that I was only leaving it for... More

This hotel is a short walk from King's Cross/St. Pancras Station, taking approximately ten minutes and is easy to find. Every member of the reception staff we encountered, were excellent, very helpful and professional. Our room was a bit larger than you find in other hotels in this area and had a small en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making... More

Was coming home from Man UTD away (Chelsea fan) and after having a few drinks needed somewhere to stay the night. Place cost £48 for two people and was provided a nice little room. You get what you pay for, and I have to say I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it was. Rooms were nice, and... More

The room we had was clean and almost dust free and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the general location is good. The rooms are basic but functional and cleaned every day. We had enough storage for our stay and tea and coffee was refilled every day. The down side is that the bathroom needed a... More

Could not fault location. Cheap and cheerful with 24 hour security. Room big enough for 2 of us. Plenty hot water. Quiet. We were not in a corridor room though which maybe helped. Continental breakfast on offer for £3.50, great value. Would go back.

The hotel was adequate for our needs, although the rooms were small they were clean and served our purpose. The continental breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and the room was clean and service good. One draw back was the absence of a lounge or bar area, which meant going out again if we needed a meal or a... More

I won't be booking this hotel again. Very low grade accommodation and although it is very much at the budget end for London hotel accommodation it is still too expensive for what you get. Rooms are ultra basic, beds are uncomfortable, and overall it needs some serious money spending on it.

Booked this hotel via the internet as good location to St Pancras and not having seen it was not expecting much for the price BUT what a lovely surprise! On arrival we were greeted by a friendly gentleman who offered us the choice of two twin bedded rooms (one on the ground floor or one in basement) but were advised... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
