The California is a charming, modern and quirky bed and breakfast, less than a minute's walk away from King's Cross and St. Pancras stations. Our 60 stylishly refurbished rooms, each one cosy and comfortable, are spread over four Georgian townhouses, and we've retained as much of the original architecture as possible; our windows, corridors and staircases are all original. This means that we don't have a lift, but we do keep our reception open 24 hours a day. We have high speed WiFi is throughout the hotel and have a fantastic little bar, lounge and private terrace for our guests to enjoy. We serve a great breakfast, and this is complimentary when you book directly with us, on our website or over the phone. Welcome to The California London. Visit anytime, explore every time.

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.

Very expensive rooms. Little room, 4th floor without escalator. The bed was broken. In the morning, the street is noisy, people too. No wifi. Good breakfast. Localisation, next to the St Pancras station is great.

Value for money accommodation. Rooms a little small but clean and comfortable. Some noise from the road but to be expected given where its situated. Staff helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was pretty standard.

The location of the hotel is great for visiting London. Kings Cross isn’t the nicest of areas but access to the tube is brilliant. The outside of the hotel and lobby are very grand, reception staff friendly. Including breakfast is a nice touch, although the dining room is very

No charm but very efficient, employees paying attention, very clean, small rooms but well designed and good comfort. The English breakfas is good but lacks a good porridge. The TV of your neighbour might be a problem.
