If you're not too keen on spending a lot on a place to stay in London, then this is the place for you. It is probably the cheapest B&B in the Kings Cross area and is located about two corners away from the underground, and both Kings Cross station and St. Pancras station. The rooms are simple but comfortable, although... More

...it was an overnight stay . London is very busy SO I was lucky to find somewhere small and comfortable that didn't charge me the earth . This small Bed & Breakfast turned out to be perfect . It provided what it said it would and the full breakfast was good . If you are in transit this place is... More

This is a budget hotel that is perfect for early morning train departure from St Pancras/Kings Cross. I had a small room on the ground floor so that was great, didn't have to carry luggage up narrow stairs. Double bed was very comfortable, and clean but the ensuite could do with an upgrade, room would be a bit tight for... More

The room was very nice, the staff was very helpful and the location was perfect, near King's Cross and St. Pancras railway station. The only problem was that there was no lift and the room was at the third floor.

This hotel is centrally located nearest the St-Pancras station. It's very useful !The rooms are simple but clean and practical with a bedside lamp for every bed, a sink, and the possibility to drink a tea or a coffee in the room. The staff is nice and the english breakfast is appreciated. The best price-quality ratio !

Macdonald hotel offered good value for the money, room comfort and cleanliness are on satisfactory level. Breakfast was very basic. Location was nice, close to the tube, also walking distance from famous areas such as Soho, Leicester square, etc.

This is a hotel that I definitely would recommend when staying in London. It ticked all the right boxes. Centrally located to all the line of trains and buses. Lots of nearby convenience stores and restaurants. For the price that you pay, you get all the surprise bonuses such as on the spot cooked hot quality English breakfast. It is... More

No lift. Dragging your large bags up 4 flights of stairs does suck. But its cheap and walking distance to the train station. No frills. Its a shared bathroom, but it was clean. Not an area for walking around as a tourist.

The location is ideal for when arriving by train (Eurostar) as it is 5 min walking from St Pancras, also very close to the tube, you will be in the center of London in 15 min Very friendly reception, the rooms are small, but clean. So is the bathroom. The bed was a bit narrow and short, but we are... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
