Typically, unfortunately London standards, of over priced of an average room. Breakfast, didn't muster a smile, for us, as tinned fruit and economy cereal really was below expectation. Only positive near Kings Cross.

Stayed for 12 nights. Room was small but had everything we needed and was serviced daily which was a welcome surprise. Fantastic location with easy access to King's Cross St Pancras. Narrow stairs leading down to basement room, but not too hard to negotiate. Bed was very comfortable. Was reasonably quiet even with the window open, despite being in such... More

There were pubic hairs on the floor of the bathroom and in the shower as well as the walls of the shower, crumbs on the bedside table, the to control was covered in dust, the kettle was grimey on the lid. We had to get the receptionist to change the bedsheets because there was a pube with something that looked... More

Stayed on a Friday night for a nearby family wedding. Part of a pretty Georgian terrace, two minutes walk from King's Cross and St Pancreas station, yet really quiet. Only a 15 minute walk from the British Museum. Happy, helpful staff, very clean and usual tiny room mitigated by under-bed storage. Everything you need, spotless throughout (especially the bathroom) and... More

Convenient for Kings Cross, St Pancras. Cases stored for no extra charge. 24 hour reception. Rooms very compact, but well thought out to give adequate storage for cases and hanging clothes. Two shelves. Hair drier and kettle. Tray with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits topped up daily. Good flat screen TV with channels we needed: BBC1, 2 and 4. Clean,... More

4 night stay chosen for proximity to St Pancras Station and Paris trip after attending a wedding in London - ideal. My room was at the top of the stairs- a few flights, but I was rewarded with a pleasant room, so I'm grateful my son was with me to help with luggage. The room was like a very comfortable... More

We, an elderly couple, have stayed at this hotel 4 times. It is conveniently located at Kings Cross, a few minutes walk to transport. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Although there are no lifts, the staff are happy to assist with luggage if required. The rooms are small but provide all that is required. Storage for suitcases under the... More

We stayed in this hotel in December 2014 and spent 6 nights there. The room was a bit small, but it was just enough for us. Though small, we still had room to put away our bags and purchases. It's an old-style kind of hotel, so you might be a bit uncomfortable with the fact that there is no shower... More

Very good location just a few minutes walk from St. Pancras Station (Thames Link trains to and from Gatwick airport, slower but cheaper than Gatwick Express) and King's Cross tube station (which has direct lines to Tower Hill and Baker Street/Madame Tussaud's which we were visiting) in a quiet side street. If you stand with your back to the station,... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
