We stayed here for a weekend with friends. As we got out of the cab, someone was there to greet us and direct us to reception on the second floor whilst taking care of our bags.
Check-in is in an incredible space, with a soaring...More

Nice hotel public areas but the standard rooms are small and sterile. Comfortable enough and nice bathroom but you do get a sense of claustrophobia.
Snotty barman up at Radio on the roof as well hence the mark down.
ME London just screams modern professionalism through and through. You are greeted by staff once you walk in, and they are very courteous to you. I have enjoyed my stay there a lot.

Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to
these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.

We stayed in the basic room which was terrific in every respect. The somewhat significant price hike to the "better" rooms seemed ridiculous to me; particularly as a balcony in winter has limited appeal!
The rooms on the 8th and 9th floor have a balcony they are called the energy rooms. The energy rooms with the view of the river have the best views. As you have the view of London eye and the shard from this rooms.
